What's our Best 11 if we have everyone fit? ----------------------Basso------------------- Rosenior------Hobbs---Chester----Dawson Brady-------Cairney----Mckenna---Stewart ------------Fryatt--------Waghorn--------- Bench = Gulasci, Dudgeon, Garcia, Mclean, Barmby
--------------Basso---------------- Rosenoir - Chester - Hobbs - Dawson Brady - McKenna - Cairney - Stewart --------Waghorn - Fryatt-----------
---------------Basso---------------- Rosenior---Hobbs---Chester---Dudgeon ---------------McKenna-------------- ----Brady-------Koren-----Stewart--- ---------Fryatt--------Waghorn------ Bench - Gulasci, McShane, Cairney, Mclean, Oli Though I wouldn't be too bothered about Koren, Cairney or Oli starting in the middle(I'm not counting Garcia, as he's not technically our player).
The BIG issue for me is who drops out for Stewart. It will, of course depend on form (I'm not saying Stewart should walk straight in to the first team), but surely it is Koren's shirt that is most under threat. That is, of course, assuming NP will play Cam wide. He may revert back to the striker's role if we are still struggling for goals. Whatever. The back line piks itself, IMHO. Dudgeon will at some stage be numero uno. Brady will be one winger. Midfield will McKenna and Cairney. Then there is Stewart wide with Waghorn and Fryatt up front (Fryatt's form will eventually turn). Until that time I would go with : Basso Rosie Chester Hobbs Dudgeon Koren McKenna Cairney Brady Waghorn Stewart When Fryatt is back to form I'd drop Koren and replace with Stewart. Tactically, it might not be ideal (especially away from home) to play 442. This would mean reverting to the 433/451 that NP favours. In that scenario I would play Brady wide left and Stewart wide right and leave Waghorn up front on his todd. Actually that's a balance looking side with McKenna, Koren and Cairney in the middle.
Basso Rosenior---Hobbs---Chester---Dawson -------------------Mckenna------------------ Brady---------------------------------Stewart ---------------------Koren-------------------- -------------Waghorn---Fryatt---------------
The same as the rest of you, maybe with Dudgeon for Sir Dawson. This Cairney or Koren thing is going to make us all fall out when Stewart comes back !
----------------Basso------------------- Rosenior------Hobbs---Chester----Dawson Brady-------Cairney----Olifinjana---Stewart ------------Koren------------- -------------Waghorn--------- Bench = Gulasci, (Dudgeon or McShane), Fryatt, Mclean, Barmby
He would'nt be on his own. He'd have Koren as support from a deeper role along with Brady and Stewart out wide. I think Koren prefers to come onto the ball from a deeper position, a prime example of this was in the exact position he took up when he scored his goal on Saturday. You asked for best 11 and I gave you mine.
Basso Rosenior - Hobbs - Chester - Dawson. Brady - Cairney - McKenna - Stewart. Waghorn - Fryatt. Subs: Gulasci - Dudgeon - Evans - Koren - McLean. Can't see Olifinjana playing - he was like a big Jesse in midfield.
I think on his day Koren can win any match for us. Cairney is a good prospect for the future but he's not quite there yet, but he's started this season well. Basso Rosey Hobbs Chester Dudgeon Brady Koren Mckenna Stewart Waggy Fryatt Subs: Gulasci, Dawson, Barmby, Evans, Cairney
The subs are the only thing that i'm not too sure about on that list. I'm trying the cover every position in case of injury (thinking too much like on football manager now).
