This is something thats always baffled me and I just dont get it.

You get a yellow card and the stadium is mainly full of men most of who do not particularly want to see you with your top off.

I cant remember who it was but on the weekend a player scored and threw his shirt into the crowd and then had to ask for it back which is a bit embarrassing IMO, I think it may have been Villa's Agbonlahor.

Lets hope Jon Parkin does'nt get caught up in this <yikes>. (Not that he gets the chance)

Does anyone know if this happens in the womans league <whistle>

I'd be more worried if John Parkin threw his shorts into the crowd. I can see the headlines now........... "350 Cardiff Fans Suffocated".............<laugh>

David Batty should have done that when he picked up the honour of being the first player to soil himself during a televised football match.

Lita over the weekend! Could actually jeopardise our European place in the Fair Play League. And yes that is the only way we'll be in Europe, I know that.

HTR agreed. but have never got this. They know they will be booked. Didnt somebody in recent years get sent off for a second yellow for taking their shirt offafter they had scored.

I agree with the sentiment of "why would you do it when you know you'll get booked", just stupid.

But I would counter that with, why is it a booking anyway? WTF is going on when someone decides that pulling your shirt over your head is a yellow card offence? How long has it been in now, 7-8 years? What has it achieved?
