Let me beat Jeddez & Bexley Boy to it... “all clubs sell players”” Just none as incompetently as this Belgian knob.
Personally I don’t think KAG is good enough for the Premier League. But a shrewd piece of business by Huddersfield.
Maybe we should be registered as a charity for (not so)needy football clubs, like Udders, Brentford, Liverpool, Everton, Reading.
According to Willett on ITTV, Steve Gallen has told the CASTrust AGM that Roland owes Lee Bowyer £2 million from the sale of Dijksteel. And LB expects the sum to be available to him in the transfer window. is the best reply so far...
Hard to believe, considering the fee for Djiksteel (who the Boro fans hate ) was considerably less than £2m.
It might have been just made up. It's a tweet from somebody called RolandOutToday - sounds like an honest bloke to me.
It’s an absolute embarrassment that someone of Steve Gallen’s standing within football has to sign off his transfers with a sweaty no mark like Driesen. The craven arselickers on ITTV recently claimed (based on nothing) that Gallen & Bowyer simply ignore Driesen - obviously not.
Time for Douchatelet to come clean and admit that the club is not for sale. He won't though. Might even cry on Jim White's shoulder soon.
It’s suits him not to. Don’t forget that it wouldn’t be fair to the new owner to give the existing manager a long term deal.
Maybe he thinks he can go on like this indefinitely, no CEO, loanees renewable every summer by a rookie management team. His ambition has always been to prove that he can break even in English football and he may achieve it...................for one season. After that, chaos. Do you detect a gradual flattening out of the fantastic atmosphere we've had under Bowyer? The fans aren't blind, they can see what's going on.
That's exactly what he thinks. Making Steve Gallen a director was an easy option, a cheap gesture to keep the more gullible fans onside. Subsistence (poverty) in the Championship is the only aim. I'm not surprised to hear that the atmosphere may be beginning to go flat (at least at home games). In my view Charlton fans are being extremely patient. Perhaps many are hoping for a couple of decent players in January. What we will probably get is a couple of questionable players - and the Duchatelet loyalists will claim this means he is backing Bowyer. So more division among supporters while LB soldiers on bravely. Again, exactly what Roland wants. As usual, RD is playing the Club, the fans and the manager like fiddles. With our owner continuing to behave like that, would it actually be better for Charlton to finish 22nd rather than 21st this season? Some might think so, and I couldn't blame them. But two awful seasons in the 3rd tier didn't discourage the old Scrote last time, so why would it persuade him to bugger off now. Looks like we're stuck with him until he snuffs it.
