Maybe DickPlumb just prefers the style and/or content on ITTV. They concentrate more on football related posts. Almost no threads on other subjects like politics or random things. And quite a lot less in-joking and banter between individual members. In short, ITTV could be said to be more 'serious' or 'formal' than Not606. Not saying that's a good thing or a bad thing, just that DickPlumb might prefer it. There are other differences as well of course between the two forums, and because of some of those, I personally have decided on the opposite choice, and choose to post messages only here for the present, not over there. That may well change in the future (along with a great many other things) when CAFC has a new owner. I hardly ever post on CL either, but only because on balance I prefer it here. It's worth recalling too that DickPlumb is pretty poorly at the moment. He may only be able to devote a little time to forums, so prefers to make the occasional post on the one he's most comfortable with. After all, he only posted one message on ITTV yesterday as far as I know. He didn't flood the place with posts.
After Lingfield I dropped my mate off at Bromley South Station.... feck me what has Bromley become …. it reminded me of the film 'Sin City' Give me Petts Wood or even Lewisham! any day.
Bromley has gone. Finished. If it wasn’t so sad it would be frightening. As someone said to me 5 years ago, when they opened that Primark at the top, they encouraged all of the scumbags in. They should build a wall that starts at Downham.
I have never done this before.... but I locked all the car doors after I dropped my mate off …. and by far the best part of the visit was leaving.
The good people of New Eltham are warm and friendly why else would Charlton choose to have their training ground here!
