Cloning offers the chance to correct faulty DNA in an embryo, by supplanting it with health DNA from a cloned stem cell, thereby giving people the chance to have children free of genetically inherited diseases. Or it could offer somebody losing their vision, fresh eyesight by transplanting healthy retina tissue cloned from their own cells.
