As Jaffa said really don't like AOC playing in the front 3 as he is so much better coming from deep and committing defenders.
Agree. But no Salah again today and look at the performance so decent cover for them would be not far behind.....the problem is, who would come?
loads would , but probably not the existing stars not that we sign them , as you would be pretty guaranteed of quite a lot of game time and probable success Chelsea 1 up
I’m not so sure - whoever comes know that they will not be first choice. Werner plays across the front 3 apparently....he’s an option but he’d have to come and play second fiddle.
yeah but he is an existing star we need to get the up & coming for the cover who hope to get enough chances to prove themselves at the top level .
No one will join accepting they aren't part of the first XI. They'll join believing in their own ability and believe they can force their way into the team. That's how the club should be sold to them too.
Would you call him an existing star? I’d call him a potential star but it is that type of quality that we need....Origi, Brewster and Shaq are too much of a drop in quality imo....we can’t afford to buy a kid and wait.
he is a very established player for club ,in a strong(ish) league , and country though not right at the top level is reputation is high ..
Okay, before MoTD starts, what odds that Shearer says Palace's goal shouldn't have been disallowed? Commentator on my stream said it was clear foul, but as Lovren wouldn't have got the ball anyway, Palace should have still got the goal. Some one must have said something to him at HT, because he changed his tack later and said it wasn't really foul, and that Lovren went down too easy. And Merson on Sky? Same angle: and when Jeff Steland said 'Well isn't a foul a foul anyway?' he replied 'Well in the rules of the game it is, I suppose'. FFS.
'Would they have given a penalty if that was down the other end?'. Well they gave one against Lovren himself for a push of half that strength on Calvert Lewin, and you, Alan bastard Shearer, was the one most adamant that it was a pen. ****.
