with off side i'd say give the attacker maybe half a body width start, (no arms or legs) because freeze frame isn't that accurate.
Agreed...said at the time it was bollocks. All of the fans around us in the north stand were booing...it was a joke. Fun to take the piss out of the opposition fans when it goes for you but everyone leaving the ground said it was ****. Happened to us against Leicester so have experienced both sides of it.
Apparently Leicester’s VAR penalty was dodgy. I haven’t seen it to be fair. All in all though VAR is proving to be absolutely ****. Called it.
Their argument about this is that they tell the linos not too flag if it is a close decision therefore they have to even it up by treating it as a "matter of fact" . This is despite ,as i said well before the recent controversies ,the tech they have available is no way capable of that level of exactitude.
Went to Spurs v Rochdale at Wembley in February 2018...after witnessing that clusterfuck of a match I needed no convincing that VAR was bollocks
The offside one should be simple. If you can’t tell if the attacker is obviously offside with the naked eye on a slow mo replay then you allow the goal.
