Are you retiring your HIAG account ? You’re going to love the avatar and username I’ve got for you mate. It’s very appropriate
Leave it be man, have some dignity! Try to curb your excitement a little ffs. No wonder the guy has a massive ego. I could practically hear you cream your shorts at his return through the computer
He got so excited he missed the spelling mistake in the first post that suggested this might not be who he thought it was.
There’s a comment on the Southampton board that’s got his fingerprints all over it. TSO, the Spursy One. I like it
Difference was tho, in his first stint, the players loved him. Droggers, JT, Lamps and Cech loved Mourinho and vice versa. Hazard, Costa, Ivanovic et all.....not so much
I think he’ll have an impact at spurs. Dead cat bounce I think is the financial parlance for it. It’s going to go tits up though, and it won’t take 22 years like Spurly is trying to suggest with his comparison with Wenger.
Well yeah, I have said, Jose will get them back in the top 6 this season and maybe grab a trophy like the FA Cup, but beyond that I dont know..... I DO think there probably wasn't anyone better Spurs could have gotten at this point in time to replace Poch, so I think it was a good call in the short term. Who knows.....lets wait and see.
You know. You are either HIAG, or someone who knows the score, pretending to be HIAG, so yeah. Lets drop it
Like Bope says...the player power was positive...they would run through brick walls for him because they knew this man will elevate them as footballers if they listen to him 2nd stint he walked into a club full of Billy Big Bollocks’s
Personally I think they were mad to get rid of Pochettino. Levy has created the conditions that made poch sulk off, but he’s the best manager they’ve had in a generation. And they’ve replaced him with an even bigger strop who is well past his sell by date. If he wins them an FA cup though then they’ll claim it’s worth it, but they’ve set the bar so low with how ****e they have been, that literally any pot will look like massive achievement.
Yeah I dont think anyone is arguing that. Poch is a good manager, and I think he took Spurs as far as anyone could, and I dont see Jose taking them any further, except he might win one of the cup comps, Poch was unlucky not to have, and Jose tends to have a decent record in cup finals. But in terms of making them a force in the league, those efforts are being hamstrung by a ****ty chairman, who is more interested in the balance sheet, rather than the score sheet, and that wont change.
It’s a panic appointment. Levy has created the rot at Spurs and poch was the fall guy. Maureen was available and begging for a job. Levy’s gone for the big name and seems to have completely glossed over the histrionics. This will go tits up. I give it 18 months max
Player power was much stronger in his first stint, Sheva, Terry, Ballack, Drogs... hence he got fired early in the season 2007/8. Mid September Because player power was much weaker 2015/16, he was given more time by Roman. Mid December
Player power had nothing to do with him getting sacked the first time around. He was sacked the first time because he fell out with Roman over signings. Roman forced him to sign Shevchenko and insisted he be played in every game. Mourinho wanted Eto'o.
Player power was the factor in September 2007. He fell out with Sheva and Ballack. And therefore Roman. So bye bye Jose. He signed an NDA but we all know the truth
