I mean... seriously, he is probably the best ddefender at our club; and formed a superb partnership with Halford at CB last season, and yet he isn't being played (and what's worse is that bufoon Mokoena is starting ahead of him!!!).

I can only assume that there is ANOTHER contract wrangle preventing him from playing? Either that, or Cotterill is just horribly tactically inept

Our best defense (as I see it) is:

    Halford----Rocha----Pearce----Ben Haim

There isn't another contract wrangle. From day 1 SC has kept faith with Mokoena. He did say recently that he can play Moks in more than 1 position, and he has partnered Halford with Pearce now. We always ask these questions and managers never do say why/why not.

Have you read the posts on the snooze site?

I can't say I have, I gave up with all the negativity on there, although at the moment I fully understand where they were coming from. Anything interesting on there?

    IMO, we should be playing:

    ---------------Ashdown----------------
    Halford----Rocha----Pearce----Ben Haim
    Ward-----Mullins------Norris-----Varney
    ---------Huseklepp--Benji---------------

Bring in a creative midfielder on loan for Norris & a left midfielder on loan so we can stick Varney up front and use Benji as an impact sub <ok>

If Cotts still insists we don't play Rocha, stick Ward ahead of Mokoena at least FFS.

No - it is enough to make you want to cut your own throat.

Some of the posters have always disliked SC and have been calling to get him out since day 1. Loads more have joined them now but the arguments are raging as to who they want instead - you should see some of the names they've come up with!! They have now attacked CSIs 5 year plan and want the stadium now.

It used to be a good site with some really interesting posters - they have all disappeared, can't take the negativity I suppose - just like me/you.

I like the set-up. You've got the job <ok> you can be the next manager. 1 question though, will you be playing Herman at all? Will he be on the bench?

    Aahaha, cheers ;)

I was toying with Hermann, I think TBH does a decent enough job at the back on the left, but is a bit poor going forward. Not sure Hermann is up to playing week in week out. Maybe a rotation at LB would be good?

Bench I'd probably have: Henderson, Lawrence, Kanu, Williams, Hermann/TBH with that team.

Rocha and Pearce are both left footed, can't see that partnership working
