    This conversation has been decent so far, let's not let it descend the way it usually does.

    I know enough of getting my **** kicked in as a kid (and I was 11 when the ceasefire was signed) to know that events like these are not that rare. In saying that I did automatically search for a brick every single time a British soldier came within hitting distance - such was life, we hated them and they hated us.

    Evidence suggests that the british army are heavily involved in the child sex trade, especially those who served in Ireland during the troubles, they are also involved in importing heroin and other substances that are unbecoming of a soldier.

    There has also been aligations of mob justice being carried out in Iraq by british soldiers, who have become more like a gang of roaming thugs, than an army to protect the people.

    @Dev

    I have no wish to fall out with you,I consider you a good poster.However the British army murdered innocent people over here and were never,never brought to task for it.Child slave trade?No I don't wear that one.
    They did however carry out atrocidies censured by the British goverment.So when said goverment sings high and mighty about 'war crimes' it makes me sick.

    Evidence would point to certain members of the british army, mainly those who served in Ireland during the troubles, having been heavily involved in the 7/7 attacks with regards to funding and explosives.

    It is thought by many experts that the killing of innocent civilians in a shoot to kill policy in Ireland, during the troubles, has had severe mental effects on the british army and many believe this explains the links to the vatican sex trade.

    For these people to behave like this, they must have dehumanised the people they deal with.
    I do not know if this is something that is cultivated, or a natural collective reaction to being placed in these types of situations.

    You can call it a rogue element if you want. There may be a degree of truth in that, but those who expose young men incapable of dealing with situations sensibly are equally as culpable as those who perform the act.

    For example. Dev knows my thoughts that the British army have no business in Ireland. Never have, never will. Yet the fact of the matter is that they were here. I'd like to think that if folk like Dev were posted here, there'd have been much less strife than sending ****wits like Hero who have preconceived prejudices that meant he is utterly incapable of dealing rationally with alien situations.

    You want to lose credibility, you behave like animals.

    Did the MOD not have an enquiry in to the drugs being imported from Afghanistan? I read about it a while back.

    Ive been at the bamup, but everyone knows they have a large piece of the opium trade, its a trillion dollar business, 3rd only to Oil and Arms.

    They bring in the drugs and then fight there other unwinnable war, the war on drugs.
