Newcastle 1200 Dr Time has just opened at 12s with pp which is definitely ew friendly but win only for me . The Dr was in a very well run race at FFos lto and if in the same sort of mood could have more in the tanks than the rest on the long run for home .
Newcastle 140 Charlie snow angel gets turned out very quick but that run should have blew away a few cobwebs . The price at 10/3 looks fair with them carrying bottom weight .
Southwell 3.45 Bob Maxwell Ran well at this track 2 runs ago and was 3rd on soft at Doncaster during his flat career. Small stable had a 2nd at Hereford this week. Conditional takes off valuable 10 lb today. Could outrun his odds I think.
TROOPER TURNBULL 8/1 Newcastle 3;25 nice performance over course and distance on debut last year and with any amount of improvement highly likely is sure to take a hand in the finish.
If you’re in Cheltenham today go to the sales. I’ve been a few times, it’s really interesting. You might see a star of the future and I’m sure there will be refreshments available. Whatever you do keep your hands in your pockets though.
Little ew lucky 15/acca for today. Prices look generous 1:25 Southwell - Arthur's Reuben 15/2 3:45 Southwell - Zamoyski 9/1 7:15 Dundalk - Brokopondo 30/1 (4 places) 7:45 Dundalk - Sharjah 11/1 (4 places)
The top 4 in the market all look relatively short in comparison to the rest of the field but the one i'm drawn to is the next one down in the betting Cheeky Ricco @ 33/1. Looks up against some big guns in terms of yards represented and i know absolutely nothing about this ones trainer. Unraced so obviously theres always the unknown with that but on paper at least this one looks a little overpriced to me and i'm happy to risk a couple of quid ew. I'll do reverse fc with yours too.
12:30 Road Warrior EW - beaten a long way on stable debut but I think that was a pipe opener and now up in trip I think he is potentially well treated. 1:05 Ellarna - long trip north and a positive mention in Nicholls’ column today. 1:35 Very First Time - thought the spark was igniting last time and this is perfect race for him. 3:10 Bossiney Bay - paddy is riding out of his skin and very eyecatching booking for this one. Definitely jockey upgrade!! Also he won the race on this horse in the summer
hi fellas! southwell,12 50: not too many in any kind of form here, except GRAND COUREUR,who is fit,and his last two runs are working out quite well.also on a potentially lenient mark,so big shout here.
Looks like we are struggling today, guys... The only one I've got picked out is, Oriental Cross, which goes in the last at Southwell. He made a decent return to action, there's signs that Vaughan's horses might just be starting to run into form and he has his top jockey booked for this one.
southwell,2 00: jepeck is in really good nick, and if this race doesnt come too soon, will be probably hard to beat, but i am always a bit cautious about horses running again so soon,so i go with THE MULCAIR here.excellent pedigree, and with a top yard,so a big danger to all today.
