Does anybody know what Raheem has actually done this time?

Gareth Southgate spoke about it for at least five minutes.
Not only did the England manager not give any details, he was doing that trick he does really well - talking in sentences that sound like they ought to make sense (the words are in the right order) but at the same time, do not make any actual sense whatsoever. A bit like a Lewis Carrol character from one of the Alice novels.

I reckon Gomez has taken the piddle with a comment about the 3-1 defeat to City.

Despite the slavish attention that he gets from the politically correct football media, it’s perfectly obvious that Raheem Sterling is a vile little individual.

Note the carefully planted stories today about how poor little Raheem is a victim of Southgate’s bias, and how the rest of the squad have sided with him over Gomez.

Raheem Sterling is one of the main reasons why I have lost interest in the England national team in recent times.

That, and the arse-licking media wetting themselves as if England won the 2018 World Cup, rather than losing to Croatia, and Belgium - twice.

Wouldn't have been dropped if England were playing Germany.

They both play for England (even though one was born in Jamaica).
That aside, I can't think what Elfs was referring to.

Have they both been seen with the same WAG?
Are they both closet Ed Sheeran fans?
Got it - neither one can grow a decent beard.

Am I alone in finding this Sterling farce toe curling for all concerned.

That stripy Nigel Southgate now tearfully claims that his job is “lonely”

FFS - you are on £3,000,000 a year , you bearded Jessie :headbang:

It's the way things are now.
Footballers wrapped in cotton wool, politicians promising compassion and unicorns and happy ever afters.
Emotional maturity is consigned to history.
    Everyone's a victim.

Gets an assault rifle tattoo. Society's fault.

I'm sorry his father was shot dead, but there are many people who lose relatives to violence. Strangely enough, getting a whacking great tattoo of the murder weapon isn't a common form of reaction. It's the kind of thing idiots do to impress their 'gangsta' mates.

Maybe Gomez realises now he shouldn't have persuaded Southgate not to send Sterling home, if that's what he did.
Next time the wee man has a pop at him, just punch him out and have the weekend off.

the guy who kicked the dying man on the ground should be deported. His mum should have her council flat taken from her, and should also be deported.

Sterling's response to the booing was decent
Didn't say "bruv", why would you put that in?
