afternoon, fellas! sedgefield,1 00: i think,ETTILA DE SIVOLA has a decent chance in this.i find it always interesting,if a horse is sent quite soon over fences, and, according to the market, better was expected on hi seasonal debut last time out.so,with that run under his belt, should strip fitter today.
Mud lover that didn't look good in his last run at sledgefield but Carrys the weight well above 3s on opening but looked a bargain as they were asking to much of millie(the opening fav).
Has Cheltenham been abandoned already??? The racecards section of 'The Sporting Life' is showing tomorrow's card as being abandoned (waterlogged course) but no mention is made of this on the 'latest news' section.
taunton,1 25: BATHSHEBA BAY ran a solid race first time out,and probably bumped into a useful rival here.can easily go one better today.
'Latest news' section updated now to show that tomorrow’s meet at Cheltenham is indeed off. Inspection at 3 pm tomorrow re Saturday’s card. Disappointing as really liked one at Cheltenham of the morrow. Regular readers hide your disappointment stocially.
I like this horse but Mullins has a poor record in the Champion Chase.Reading the racing post on my lunch here and Willie thinks Chacun Pour Soi might be the one to finally land him this race. He is entered in the King George but will most likely stick to 2 miles this season
Good to see some old posters back and the daily thread discussion has picked up now the jumps season has kicked in
Amazing how Shattered love was odds against last nite this her easiest assignment by far and in a handicap would be carrying 10lbs more than the field! 4/6 is the right price for me but she should win!!
sedgefield,2 45: not easy,as most of these have a point to prove,so does my selection BRYDEN BOY too.has been in the doldrums for some time, but hes tumbled a long way in his mark, and hes a strong stayer too.the yard also had a welcome winner at bangor yesterday,so no surprise to see him go well here. clonmel,2 50: CLONMEL OIL CHASE hard to decide for me,as i like both TOUT ET PERMIS and peregrine run a lot,but slight preference is for the former, who made a solid comeback a few weeks ago,and has it in him to run very well today.
Good to hear - I hope he can really kick on from that. I wonder if Willie will send him over for the King George?
