Musty "Aussie" Frog is the two time champ! Will he make it three in the fourth season? Jimmy Graham's Bald Head won season 2, but has crashed out in the first round twice. Was it luck or will he prove the doubters wrong? AlRawdah, AugustaTiger, M0WDS, philhul, Quill, StubbDave and tiptoethroughthekempton have all managed to pick a non winning side in week 1 in all 3 seasons. Can they break the curse or will they keep on being....unlucky? For those who don't know how this works (read 5 even you entered Season 1) 1: Each week the eligble fixtures will be posted by me in this thread. 2: You make one main pick and one back up pick (back up must be from Premier League and only comes to effect in case your main pick is postponed/cancelled) 3: If you for example pick Man City in week 1. You can't choose them again. 4: If your pick wins their game you're through to the next week. If they draw or lose, you are out (unless below) 5: The lifeline. If you pick a team that fails to win you might get saved by the lifeline. The lifeline and how you get rescued by it will vary from each week. During week 1 I want you to predict if City will win, draw or lose away against Boro. 6: Maximum number of picks for 1 team per week may change. No more than 3 may pick the same team in week 1. Also. Mustyfrog get an advantage for winning season 3. Plum predicted Mustyfrog to win it all and therefore gets the same advantage. During week 1 you'll go through as long as you don't pick a side that don't lose (they may draw besides winning) FIXTURES FOR WEEK 1 (fixtures played on Mondays are not included/eligble) Deadline: 22 Nov Template for week 1 Main pick: Backup: Lifeline: (City to win, draw or lose)
Main pick: Stoke City Backup: Everton Lifeline: City to draw With sincere apologies to Michael O'Neill's nascent managerial career.
Plum's got the advantage tho. He'll go through if Stoke draws as well (due to his prediction of Musty winning)
Brentford (it should be Leeds, but I can't face the thought of wanting them to win) Leicester City Win
