I meant to add that I don't see this as some form of aggressive takeover, just a part of the agreement they have came to. FPP put money into Madrox.

That's the one hopefully all turns out good. I'm hoping for the better side with a full takeover by these guys as I think they will hire the right people and hopefully we will be ran properly.

Not even wanting loads of money spent on us like Man C it would just be nice to be ran like them as apparently they are first class according to Sir Bob. We've been far from that for a long time and that's why we are where we are.

Some lad posted a link to a link to some American baseball team earlier who they had invested in. They started from ground up got rid of high earners spent loads on academy and scouts looking for cheap young talent whilst also producing it.

They already have the AOL if takeover and they setup more across the world for developing and housing other young players with other team so hopefully do the same for us.

Sartori bought cut price shares and (allegedly) fronted up some of the Grigg fee.

Other than that it's hard to work out why he's involved.

He's shown no sign of wanting to take over the club, instead he's decided to get into politics.

He's the only one of the trio who would have enough loose change to satisfy the EFL fit and proper person test so perhaps his role is to offer some much needed credibility.

Plus this deal prevents them from talking to other parties, so if they want to even discuss the club with another party they need to pay the bill in full first.

I honestly think these Americans have pulled a blinder, we will go through some rough times but there is light at the end of this dark tunnel we are going through!

I think this is just part of the eventual takeover, I don't think there is a dark side to this, I just wish both side would release a written statement on their intentions.

Sartori wasn't involved in the first instance. As an investor in a third division club, Donald satisfied the criteria comfortably (If we were in the PL then he wouldn't have)

Sartori was already involved in politics before he bought his shares in SAFC - he had to relinquish his business interest in us in order to fulfill his candidacy for the presidential campaign. There was only Methven and Donald in the first place. Sartori came in long after the fit and proper bit was concluded.

I don;t see Donald as not being "fit and proper" or capable of owning the club. The only reason I think people think that is because they want us to spend silly money to get back to previous glory days. Donald has enough to own us and run us, but not enough to invest heavily. Investing heavily is not a pre requisite of the fit and proper persons criteria

Because there is no need to, as I say I think it's all part of the agreement. FPP put £9m into the club and in return have a guaranteed share option.
They will probably do the same next season if we are in the Championship.
I am just guessing here obviously but aren't we all?
Until a statement or update is given by both sides.

I think you're right mate, I've been posting over there and it's the equivalent of pissing into the wind in a hurricane...

They read something, assume bad intent from all concerned, then compete with one another to give it the greatest negative spin possible.

I've been posting on RTG - i'm not pissed off about the loan - i'm more pissed off at Methven for the bare faced lies in the podcast. I wish he would stop treating the fanbase as idiots!

I reckon he wont field calls from fans and the radio newcastle team will be briefed on what will and wont be answered. It would be nice if Marco actually put this to him.

At the end of the day theres been so much smoke and mirrors from these 2 in regards how the financing has gone on - they really havent helped themselves one bit - the 100 point season and then Methven spouting off in the podcast. It just makes them appear as if they dont knwo what they are doing.

I wonder if this was pre-planned or just because of the backlash from the companies house statement.

So Stewart Donald has borrowed money from safc? Surely that’s improper conduct for a director to undertake, now that’s a very serious allegation! Unless you mean that there is an inter company loan from safc to Maddox? Which of course is entirely proper? Which is it km?

Stewart Donald's company, administered by him, has borrowed money from SAFC to pay debts run up personally by Stewart Donald.

But in all seriousness, the fact you're obsessing over that is mental behaviour. Just give it a rest.
