I dont, see above. It really pisses me off though, imagine how we'd react to a foreigner calling it Trafford Old. It's the same as AC Milan or, even worse, when people just called them AC. People dont refer to Liverpool FC do they? Freaks.

Yeah fair point but that's something slightly different again - we change the name of cities and countries all around the world (I have no idea why we do this) so in thisparticular case we tend to refer to them by their "English name". But you're right, we dont call Roma "Rome" do we?

It is very odd. Why the fook we change some names of cities and countries (and vice versa - Londres and Angleterre anyone?) and not others is beyond me.

Isn't it the Camp Nou because the spanish language puts the object first not the adjective? - e.g its not white wine but vino blanco.

A friend of mine went on a tour of the stadium some while ago and said he thought it was a bit of a dump - ridiculously narrow gangways and an ugly concrete exterior and the stadium in general in need of massive refurbishment.

I went about two weeks after we won at Wembley, and it felt a bit underwhelming.

Also, they don't let you in the home changing rooms, just the away ones. No pitch either when I was there.

Strangely enough I still enjoyed it.

It is a bit tatty, but it's still an impressive stadium.

Unfortunately, half the crowd are usually tourists, so unless you go to a Real Madrid game, or a Champions League game, the atmosphere's ****.

Couldn't be arsed to read up too much but Las Ramblas is ok really, I was down there about half 11 and it was still just full of tourists I had my eyes open for hookers but couldn't find any at that time. Pick pockets are everywhere there's tourists, the main thing to deter them is just keep your posessions safe if they're in your pocket keep your hand there, and always look alert and on top of things, keep glancing a look over your shoulder. THey go for the easy targets eg. someone stood reading a map with both hands on it etc. They're clever bastards too so be careful of them.. And a bag say a womans hand bag (yes I'm aware you won't have one lol) for example wouldn't be safe they'd slice the bottom with a blade and take stuff out, they're up to those kinds of tricks.

If you go to the beach, be careful of local pervs taking photos of your kids. There was one local ***** man who was stood there openly taking photos of anyone, mainly kids and women with their baps out, then attatched a huge zoom to his camera and stood their sniping on peoples hotel rooms and taking photos!

And choose a nice place to eat, if the weathers nice the whole city absolutely stinks of ****, and it's difficult to eat your meal with that smell lingering around. Also avoid those african lucky charm braid people, they just walk up and start doing it without saying anything, and then demand money, if you don't give theres a gang of about 20 huge *******s waiting for you round the corner.

I think they're the only things I found to watch out for while i was there, off the top of my head.

I have often wondered why we call it Nou Camp but the Spanish cannot complain they call our Queen Isabel but we call their king Juan Carlos not John Charles.
