Yeah I know we lost 3-1 but that was one of the best performances I have seen at old trafford from a chelsea side. To even create 21 chances is great. I think we can take many positives from the match. We were unlucky in the goals we conceded as their fors two were offside and the third was harsh on us but oh well..... Thought torres had a great game even though he missed a sitter. His goal was great and he set up ramires for what should have been a goal but in the end it was a good save. We are moving in the right direction. AVB made a great sub in anelka on for lamps and it showed our attacking abilities. If we had gone 3-0 down with carlo in charge, he wouldn't have made aspiring decisions like AVB. We are a club in transition and the future is looking bright especially after our performance yesterday.
Speaks bounds when Fergie himself say's Chelsea should have been three up in the first half and that they didn't deserve to be three up at half-time.
Yup to this. I have even had a Liverpool fan state to me that we battered them and were very unlucky not to have taken something from the game.
Can you picture Fergie, if the first two goals had gone in the United goal!! He'd have choked on his chewing gum! Mind you , I suppose at OT the linesman would have flagged it at the other end!
