    I like you.

I can't even say I faintly like or respect any of the political parties or politicians. They all seem to be mildly cretinous. It's a real dilemma, which will most probably be solved by Toby's offer of sweets...

    It's an interesting conundrum.

In Scotland, the Unionist parties made great strides in 2017, Tories in particular - due to their steadfast refusal to allow the SNP to call another Scotch referendum - but Brexit has shown us that English Nationalism is on the rise and the fact that the Tories have sacrificed Norn Iron to get the Holy Grail of a "Brexit Deal" shows us that they don't really care for the Union, only about getting re-elected.

Labour are a total shambles and the fact that they are so far behind the Tories shows their supported that their fanatical backing of Corbyn is total folly. Even the hapless Ed Milliband would have the Tories over the coals for their shambolic handling of Brexit.

Lid Dems - I'll be voting these guys as it's my best hope of keeping the vile SNP away from winning this seat but as the only totallly anti-Brexit party, you hope that some of that 48% Remain vote would get behind them but it doesn't seem to be translating like this in the polls.

SNP - Despite fkin up fkin nearly every fkin thing they touch in Scotland, the fanatical nationalist vote will re-elect this shower of contemptible ****.

Brexit Party - they offer us real Brexit but Farage "principles" seem to have disappeared of late to help get the Tories elected.

Green Party - Their £100bn a year eco scheme certainly ticks the box for tackling climate change but at what cost to the greater economy and considering the UK is responsible for a whopping 1%-2% of greenhouse emissions, can't really see us being trailblazers making much of a difference.

I wouldn't bother mate and hope for the best. ER and I are actually thinking of starting up our own party(no curries involved). It can't be any worse than the dross we have as a choice these days. It is really rather awful just now.

It's a rum do, for sure. How can all the options be so impossibly awful?

If you do start your own party, what will your flagship policies be?

It’s where my vote will go, mainly because the two main parties are such a shambles.

Bozo has called this election to try and further his own career - which is why he does everything. He couldn’t gives **** about Brexit. He’s wholly unfit to be PM as are the nodding clowns he’s surrounded himself with.

Corbyn would also be an economic disaster for the U.K. He’s still stuck in some failed 1970’s ideology. He’s stubborn, inflexible, indecisive and also totally unfit to be PM. The only “upside” being that unlike the other potential economic disaster - Brexit! - Corbyn could be gotten rid of in 5 yrs or less.

I can’t pretend that Swinson impresses me, she doesn’t. But she’d do less damage than either of the other two, imo.
