On his own admission retch has been going back and for to Africa for about 20 years, and often thinks about it and the stuff that he's done there.

I'm not suggesting that it wasn't meant in the peadophile sense, I'm telling you it wasn't.

What I did mean is that "St Vetch" sets himself up as holier than thou with his references to his African charity work, and regards himself as some sort of "superior being", (despite sticking nasty vile Nazi references into personal attacks wherever possible)
I was being slightly ironic and sarcastic and meant that he was dreaming about how wonderful he was (at least in his own mind)

To be fair a lot of these arguments are over the top but whether you agree with Proph or Vetch or not or take sides with either it is a forum and we have to very passionate fans who care about their respective clubs and dont give a toss about any other club whether we agree with whats going on or not you cant really stop people standing there ground and as bad as people think this situation is at least neither have wished cancer on one and other nor lied about having a girlfriend/wife with cancer nor have they lied about his wife/girlfriend being a relative of one of the mining dissaster victims..if anyone nedds banning its JH

Well I agree to disagree with most CCFC fans and give as good as I get, but JH is beyond the pale. Made up a story on Swansea 606 about a Swansea fan girlfriend who was dying of cancer - later revealed to be a lie, and last week said the same woman's relative died in the mine. He's off his head - and very twisted.

I replied (I don't think it saw the light of day because the thread got deleted) by saying that even the teams at the top of the Premiership sing about their rivals when they are in different divisions eg Man U used to sing "We all hate Leeds sc*m" even when Leeds were in League 1.

I don't think Man U have an inferiority complex.

Swansea City finally came of age in the PL with a good win over WBA, and I questioned the mentality of people who would rather slag off their rivals rather than celebrate what should have been a joyous occasion..................if the situation had been reversed I would have questioned the mentality of Cardiff fans who reacted in the same way.

The fact that Man Utd fans do it is pathetic as well

With the Swans currently being the highest placed league team in Wales (and as the league doesn't lie, the best) well it can't be football related..........so it must be the 2nd city syndrome IMO.....or is it something else?

People sing it because that's what football fans do! I think all Clubs do it. Perhaps it's sung here with a bit more venom because you boys have been above us for so long, and give us the "big club" spiel, so there's an element of truth in what you say.
