Old chief normally does a annual Christmas thread. Bit like luv always does a bbq one.

 

We had roast lamb. She cooked it so it was overdone and sliced too thick. I don't know what she's trying to prove.

 

King Edward make the best roast potatoes. Maris the best chips. That is a fact. There is another spin that makes a great roast and I can’t remember the name of it. Desiree make decent ones too.

Seriously, your gravy is always as thick as Kustard.

 

ive never managed to cook a lamb roast rare. I never buy it as a consequence. Beef is fine. I just cook it for half the time it says to. Unless I’m pissed. In which case I get all sucky on it and incinerate it .

 

It was drizzled in lemon juice. Drizzled.

 

that’s how I like it. I like to be able to stand a spoon in it. Wasn’t actually that thick today.

 

I like my gravy to be more like a jus.

Only going for two nights, will stay on Soi Bercal and will pick up the turkeys at Siamburis.
