Let's see how Leicester look in a month and see if they are still in the running. Yes, they won a league title on momentum when the other top teams were napping, but I doubt they can last the year at the top in a season where top teams aren't all having bad seasons at the same time. I'm not concerned about Leicester as a title rival at the moment.
Interesting that as of kick off, City will start the game from 4th place in the league... Will being in 4th impact them mentally? Either to spur them on or shoot them down?
Watched it too but I will defend the VAR in as much as the cross was soo awful that if he wasnt touched he was never going to get to the ball. So I can see why they stayed with the on field referee call
On the combined first 11's the fundamental question would be who the coach is. I think Pep would take our fullbacks Virgil and Firmino. Klopp would take their midfielders in KDB and Bernado Silva and Laporte at CB.
I would be relieved after the game after we have won- Going to international break with a win is a good tidings.
Sorry, this will make me even less popular, but I think we'll be lucky to scrape a draw here. We've been riding our luck for weeks now and are on top due to sheer doggedness. City have the better mindset. We just can't do anything against them in the league. If we lose I won't be surprised, but it won't be a killing
As for Leicester, they can **** off after the mess Rodgers made of our campaign! They're not having it!
But he was more than touched, and the fact he wasn't getting to the cross anyway is not an excuse for ignoring a clear foul.
it was a total farce to the extent even the Spurs fans think both the delay & the decision were ridiculous .
I'm actually scared. As someone said earlier, City have to win this due to earlier results. It could play into our hands, BUT......................
Bravo Cancelo Stones Rodri Mendy Fernandinho DeBruyne Gundogan Mahrez Aguero Sterling 1-3 Off to the cabbage hall for a prematch guiness or 2
I’m quite relaxed. Even if we lose we are 3 points clear and have played nearly a third of the season and City have a tough run coming up. Anybody who says that it’s a disaster if we lose is an idiot tbh as City would have 3 points less having played the same number and arguably slightly easier games!
