Sure I saw somewhere that talks had already taken place, and he wouldn't be taking / offered the job.

I think it's more likely to be "Bayern" rather than the legalistic company registered name.

But who knows, perhaps locals in Bavaria call them 'FC' ?

Calling them Bayern would be like TWS calling themselvesYorkshire.

Is there anything Munich fans can’t eat or drink when not travelling across the divided city?

I've only got one German mate, but he calls them Bayern (massive Frankfurt fan).

My German acquaintance calls them Eintracht.

It distinguishes them as there is more than one team in Munich I suppose. Bit arrogant of Bayern to decide they represent the state .<laugh> Though their fan base is massive throughout Bavaria. Getting on the season ticket list or getting tickets can be a convoluted business. Though they keep a higher percentage of tickets for pay on the day to make sure different people see games and get hooked. These are available through a membership scheme. Forget the exact figures but something 100,000 people pay £60 a year to be in it and have a chance of being drawn out in advance of games. Tickets do come on the market through a sell on scheme but most seem to be sold through the usual sites at vastly inflated prices.like As I said, a bit like TWS calling themselves Yorkshire as though they represent the whole county. Though some of their deluded fans think they do.

All great teams do, don’t they? At least round our way.

After writing my reply thought I would check the figures. Bayern have 290,000 people paying €60 a year for adults, less for youngsters. More than the income from the gate receipts of most Championship clubs and a few PL ones. They are nearly as big as the Fowls and TWS.
