Absolutely dreadful that like. No pattern of play at all. The RB is awful, Maguire had a mare and it was an awful mistake from the keeper for their goal. Lots of work to do on the training pitch and in January. What the hell did he say to them at half time?
I've liked that but to be honest I really want to unlike it. What a sad,sad state of affairs. In two ways for me, how we have fallen and whatever happened to the FA Cup
Player Ratings from Roker Report: https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/20...how-the-lads-rated-after-bore-draw-in-the-cup Jon McLaughlin: 6/10 Terrible mistake, but had little to do apart from pick the ball out of the net. Dealt with everything else. Conor McLaughlin: 5/10 Average performance, still need to see more from him. Jordan Willis: 6/10 Consistent as ever. Joel Lynch: 6/10 Steady, strong and rarely troubled. Laurens De Bock: 6/10 Good first half, average second half. George Dobson: 7/10 Had a really strong start to the game, less effective in the second but continued to work hard for the team. Max Power: 6/10 Quiet game, needs to be more effective. Chris Maguire: 5/10 Nothing came off for him, started on the right but was no better when he moved into the 10. Luke O'Nien: 6/10 Worked, but rarely looked dangerous. Aiden McGeady: 5/10 Scored, did little else. Will Grigg: 5/10 Ran around, but never looked likely to score. Marc McNulty (SUB) : 6/10 Good cameo, almost set up McLaughlin for a great goal. Duncan Watmore (SUB) : 6/10 Not enough time on the pitch. Man of the Match: George Dobson
Some of those are a joke. lynch's passing was atrocious, watmore had no impact whatsoever, Maguire was awful, and Connor mc was terrible as well. I also thought power was well below par
I genuinely hope we can hang on the coat tails of the League 1 front runners until January..We desperately need some quality from somewhere. sadly this group of players just don't have what it takes to get out go this league. As for Grigg.......Please find him another club in January, he just doesn't want to be here.
I’m sweating for a Charlton goal for a BTTS treble also I’m on Leeds, Millwall wins and Southampton draw. could be a good second half
Sums up the sad state of affairs of League One football at the moment, when two sides from the same league get drawn together in the Cup, especially when there is many miles between them. This is probably one of the worst league ones I can ever remember, Bury gone under, Bolton started on -12 and Southend at risk from the Inland Revenue. Hence as result, the league is reduced to 23 teams, Bolton are still on minus points, and Southend don't look like having much chance at staying up. And the competition, Ipswich and Wycombe, seriously! No wonder the cup didn't attract the fans, it's November, we are all shhite and the fans have stayed home barring a few brave souls, that have to witness a keeper clambering the stands to retrieve a ball.
Imho we not that good atm... I am hanging on wishing and hoping for a big improvement in the 2nd half of the season... Am I being foolish? In the Jan transfer window we need to get one or two goal scorers, I expect one or two of existing players have to go for this to happen..Grigg? It feels as if a lot depends on promotion this season and dumping Ross and bringing in Parkinson has not changed anything...All Parkinson has done is give Griggs chances to become a goal scorer, it has not worked.. goals will make all the difference... in today's football, where defenders cannot clog forwards, you are always likely to concede 1 goal (even Chitty and bindippers for instance) but you have to knock in 2, 3, 4 in the other end... We are nowhere near doing that at present
