The sickening thing is that those 2 great champions probably get paid about a 20th of those useless lumps in the Heavyweight division. Now that is a travesty.

Regardless of how we saw it, great fight. Great performance from Donaire. Even better from Inoue. If that's the last we see of Donaire then what a way to go out. Its the first time Inoue has looked beatable but he will only improve further for the experience. I still don't think there'll be a long line of people queuing up to fight him.

Sky have well and truly outdone themselves here, ****ing atrocious and disrespectful to the sport and it’s fans.

just when you thought their PPV offerings could not get any worse (PS BT Sport you’re also absolute ****)

Remember the days when Lewis and Calzaghe would be on normal sky sports? Only went PPV on the mega fights.

Sky seem to forget, their tv is already PPV- it’s a bastard fortune already!! <yikes>

The KSI - Logan Paul crap is all about money, DAZN and promoters like Matchroom don't give a flying **** about what they promote, it's all about sucking in the notes. I don't know whether it's bullshit or not, but Matchroom are saying that the numbers for the broadcast are trending towards the one and a half million buys.

There's no way that Saunders and Haney, as good as they are, could pull even a third of those numbers, so if the predictions are right, there'll be a million non boxing fans watching their screens. KSI and Logan Paul could dump the gloves and take to each other with wet mops and the buys would still be huge.

We have to forget that the evening's event is about boxing, it's just another reality show aimed at a bullshit audience.

I watched the first one a while ago out of sheer morbid and twisted curiosity. They were utter dog toffee the pair of them.

It was like two old women in a care home fighting over the last guy who could still get it up.

The American one, i don't know which one is which (sorry any Millennial's looking in) has even talked about fighting Anthony Joshua 'when' he wins. If either of these tools get a fight with an actual professional boxer after this then their promoters need locking up

Hearn has zero integrity and doesnt care one iota about the people he promotes . Of course one of them will turn Pro.

To turn back the clock, more than a few years, has anyone seen the BBC4 documentary called "Who Killed Freddie Mills?"

If you have, then no need to read on! However - as someone alive and interested at the time - I found it both fascinating and from a boxing perspective, slightly horrifying. I won't put in a "spoiler" in case you haven't seen it, but the question is pretty much answered at the end, although from a legal viewpoint it is pretty much hearsay (the son of one of the instigators)

The actual boxing though is very interesting. We know that things are a lot tighter now and refs tend to stop a fight if one of the fighters looks distressed, but some of Freddie's fights were wars, particularly the first title fight with American Light Heavy World Champion, Gus Lesnovitch.

Now you can find the Mills/Lesnovitch fight on Youtuube but the high camera placement coupled with the grainy footage disguises what was a pretty brutal fight. In this documentary, there is footage of this fight filmed at a lower and closer angle. Freddie was punched scores of times when he was virtually defenceless, his head being battered around, but he didn't go down easily. Back up at 8, it was more of the same - Lesnovitch at the start of the next round, raced across and launched a real haymaker with such ferocity that his feet were off the ground when the blow landed. Remarkably, FM started to recover and managed to win or share around 3-4 rounds, before Lesnovitch began to rally again in rounds 9 and 10. There were no judges in those days, and the ref gave it to Lesnovitch.

But it turned Mills into a legend, and when he beat Lesnovitch in the rematch to take Britain's first World title in decades, it made him a global icon. He was probably as famous then, as David Beckham is now, appearing on TV shows, live appearances and in Las Vegas.

The documentary is highly watchable, even if you are too young to remember him, and can be found on the BBC i-player

BoxingScene.com has released figures supplied by the California State Athletic Commission for the DAZN card tonight.

KSI and Logan Paul are each guaranteed US$900,000 for their clash. Those numbers will be bumped up if the buys are healthy.

WBC Lightweight Champion Devin Haney will pocket US$1,000,000 when he defends his crown. His opponent Marcelo Esteban Coceres will take home US$90,000.

WBO Super Middlweight Champion Billy Joe Saunders' take home pay will be US$750,000. he man facing him, Marcelo Esteban Coceres, is on US$80,000.

It's hard to gauge mate. Hes fought nobody at world level in his career.
I just think he is lacking badly in physical strength/power to keep the big boys off him should he ever step up.

KSI v Logan Paul. Bloody hell, what a laugh. Two World Title fights that failed to rise to the expected heights, and a 6 round novice event that probably stole the show. Even as crappy as the KSI-Logan Paul skills were, they put on better entertainment than the real pros. <laugh>

Apart from my previous post, one of Billy Joes biggest problems is that he doesnt fight regularly enough. Six fights in his last 4 years isnt nearly active enough for a guy who let's himself go between fights.

For those who missed the fight of the year. <laugh>

I have to admit, the two under card bouts (both world title fights) were as dull as dish water. The main attraction may have been cultural, but it was far from boring.
