I guess she BIGS up all the minor things to distract from the fact she is undemocratic and stood under false pretences ….
I know a few people who are Labour supporters and will never vote Tory. They live up North so its pretty obvious why they vote this way! However they also voted for Leave in the referendum. They then continued to vote for Labour in the GE because they promised on their manifesto to still leave the EU. They've broken that promise. All parties break promises as they promise things they know they can't do, in order to gain your vote. But breaking a promise on a subject as important as Brexit is unforgivable to them and now will refuse to vote Labour again. I wonder how many people in the last GE voted for Labour because they promised to implement Brexit but wouldn't have voted for them if they were honest and said they will be a remainer party? I honestly believe Labour have several MP's with a seat in parliament who are there based on these lies - such as Kerry McCarthy. Tories should have had a far bigger majority after the GE where we wouldn't have to give the DUP a Billion of tax payers money to buy their 10 seats to get a majority and would still have a majority in parliament today where they wouldn't have been voted down so much over Brexit.
Probably still trying to understand what you’re on about and why is the font and colour constantly changing
best to humourhim ….. WELL finally got a response :- November 2019: Environmental and Animal Welfare Newsletter | Kerry McCarthy MP Good afternoon, Thank you for getting in touch with me about the environmental and animal welfare issues that matter to you. It’s always incredibly valuable to me to hear your thoughts and I appreciate your commitment to action on these issues. please log in to view this image PROBLEM is I never mentioned anything to do with this! A SMOKESCREEN maybe, to cover up her undemocratic stance on BREXIT VERY IRRESPONSIBLE to scribble a message to the kids to go out on strike … so still waiting for 4 replies
I presume you replied back saying you never mentioned environment or animal welfare issues and that she never answered your actual questions, which shows she is talking total bullshite that she found your thoughts valuable????
But Kerry McCarthy is the Bristol East MP. Bristol voted to remain so you could argue she is following the democratic will of her voters
absolutely, smokescreen, sends a reply or her minions do .so I guess her minions are inept, or she doesn't have any ..but she would get them paid for! typical response when trying to appease and hope it covers the real truth .her guilt will not be accepted …. to argue that point you are arguing that the reason she stood for reelection was to support the will of the peeps of the whole of BRISTOL, her constituency is but a small part of that, she didn't she stood to honour the will of the people of the UK who voted to leave. within her constituency are many people who voted for her who voted leave because she stated she and her party would support BREXIT ...it didn't .. and as previously stated they openly said "it doesn't matter if Boris gets the best deal in the world we will vote against" how democratic is that!
Yep Bristol did vote remain in the referendum. So you are right, she could argue that she is following the democratic will of her voters. But that would be a load of crap from her. That's because since the referendum, there has been a GE and she was elected by voters for a number of reasons, one of which was to honour the referendum result, which was against her constituency but she and her party knew it would be the democratic right thing to do. A lot of people who voted leave do not like Tories so they voted Labour because they believed they would implement the referendum result - to leave the EU - as promised on their manifesto. So she may think she is following the democratic will of her voters but she is going against what she stood for and going against what actually gave her a seat in parliament.
The difficult choice we have is vote Brexit or vote Tory her constituency has grown by a lot in the past 2 years or so maybe another 3000 eligible to vote …… overall about 1 in 3 voted leave .. so say 1 in 5 voted Brexit instead of labour, and 1 in 6 remain voted Brexit it will be a close thing if the tory vote stood up! other considerations is how many labour voters wont vote at all because they don't like Corbolliks .. AND ASSUME THE MAJORITY is big enough for them not to bother …..
I would just vote with your heart and what you believe in, I may be out of date but MP's of any political colour only tell you what they want you to hear but you know that John don't you.
ABSOLUTELY.... CORBOLLIKS is being dissected by a few on the TV … WHEN IT HEATS up will get quite personal I think from Corbolliks … and cant wait for the debate JC is being very well orchestrated by professional "personality coach's with an army of script writers one to one will be interesting
so labour are going to borrow £400bn get rid of UNI charges pay more to pensioners cut tax for lowest paid encourage big corporations to go off shore by taxing more encourage big earners to go off shore increase wages for certain departments police fire nurses etc pay more to the lazy unemployed { and of course those unfortunate to be jobless because of companies needing to offload due to higher taxation } so hang on who is going to pay for all this? cant be the lowest paid … they are being taken out low tax bracket cant be big corporations as they will hive off to offshore cant be biggest earners as they will register off shore or become more adept at tax evasion .. [ rather than pay tax use tax breaks for pensions and the suchlike ] wouldn't be pensioners? or would it? pay them £5 a week more and take £5.50p back! GOT IT... they wont be at all worried about paying it back … just leave it to next government to sort out, then after 5 -10 years of even harder austerity than last decade, they blame the tories for putting right the last labour blackhole, and start all over again "we gave you the world [ but left a massive debt of £tr ] and the last govern had TO EMPLOY AUSTERITY to put it right ] it is commonsense … if you owe a lot of money [ last labour government] you have 2 options keep borrowing more and more to get out of the s*** or budget wisely [ austerity ] to pay your debts and start again. It is simple domestic PROTOCOL, earn a wage [ GOVERNMENT INCOME ] = roof over head, [ AID EMPLOYERS ] kids fed, family budget [ TAXATION LENIENT ]= happily everafter! S I M P L E S ……. PS afterthought ..they would try and pay some back, so only ones to do that would be about 30million of the middle earners who voted …..
The Labour Party has always overspent - it’s what they do, so their latest pledge is nothing new. The Tories are also suddenly planning to spend - on the ‘services’ - after cutting them to the bone for the past 10 years. There must be an election looming!! Surely the electorate aren’t stupid enough to fall for such blatant bribes?????? Are they???? From either of those frauds?????
In the interest of fairness look what the liberal referendum vote deniers have magicked up. Brexit latest: Lib Dems pledge to invest £50 billion 'Remain bonus' into public services if they win election https://www.standard.co.uk/news/pol...n-bonus-into-public-services-if-a4278571.html
Every one of us gives our own version of the truth , none of us is going to be persuaded to change our mind, we all think we know best. We all use so called facts to justify our own beliefs , anyone would think there’s an election soon.
Only being provocative mate, I've just seen Jeff Lynne has got a new one, first in 4 years out ( From out of nowhere), Christmas is coming..
No, Wiz you were absolutely right to point that out. I was having a dig at the Tories and Labour, but didn’t mention the Lib Dem’s. My bad and no offence taken. The thing is, whilst I don’t trust any of them, I think that a party who has imposed austerity (however justifiable) for over 10 years but suddenly decides ‘the time is right’ to open up the coffers and pretend to love services like the NHS, just as an election is upon us, more cynical and insulting than parties who have ALWAYS advocated spending more. The problem for me this election is working out which party I hate the least, so I can vote for them!!!! Thanks for the tip-off re: Jeff Lynne and well remembered - although I’m hoping my present this year will be a USA Telecaster
