Ye meant polite applause for Townsend but should be a great reception for Jake

no, you have the last post (lower flags), then silence, then reveille (raise flags). It’s the standard format of any act of remembrance from the Cenotaph to your local war memorial.

There wasn’t a second whistle, that’s the point.

I don't know when you're on about. Aren't we talking about a game that hasn't happened yet?

The simplest thing to do would be to drop the ref whistling. Just let the Legion do their thing and lead it all. And put instructions/prompts on the screens and the programmes.

On screen prompts are important I think

divvies will be let in so you can’t expect everyone to know what to do (well I do expect them to but I am regularly let down)

With Toral out I hope we dont change the entire system. Straight swap for me, just not sure who we've got who is as creative as Toral? Maybe time for Henriksen to come straight in as a no.10.. Failing that, bring Stewart in midfield and move Lopes further up the field.

Certainly never a first team regular but Townsend was occasionally a first team sub, came on for a league cup match and played in a few friendlies. Never quite made the grade here which is a shame especially as he has gone on to make the grade at West Brom. Saw him play at the age of 11 and looked impressive then although obviously it was impossible to tell how good he would turn out to be. Progressed quite well through the City junior ranks and did OK in the U21s / U23s.

Callum Jones is tearing it up for the U23s, though chucking him in against the league leaders might be asking too much. Kid's got a big future, though.

That might not be a bad option, Lopes looks as if he has a pass in him, could easily play where Toral was playing and bring Stewart in.

Any possibility of inclement weather impacting proceedings tomorrow ? (abandonment et al).
Seems you've been having some rough stuff up North the last few days.
Are The Baggies busing it in ?

No Toral for tomorrow - Injured. He is a very fragile player.
