Well we p*ssed it only a few months ago, and judging by the way you guys played yesterday before and after the two divs were sent off, it's not looking too promising for you now is it!? Overpriced English players don't make you into a top team again, stop living off your history and realise that you guys aren't the force you once were.
Right in front of the ref as well, Ensil! It bemuses me that some people have claimed that it wasn't worthy of a yellow card.
It's strange that nothing's been made of the Parker/Suarez niggles, though. Everyone seems to have missed them entirely.
Parker went down on the edge of the box holding his throat, as Suarez appeared to catch him with an arm or elbow as he went past. He didn't look very happy about it when he got up and seemed to be trying to tell Suarez something... please log in to view this image
I thought I saw Suarez brush past him again towards the end of the match and Parker had a sly kick back but it was only a fleeting glimpse at the bottom of the screen and there was no replay.
It was in the 1st half as Parker went past Suarez he stuck his arm out and caught Parker in the throat, just outside their box.Parker went straight to ground.
I know I've already done this one, but, it's certainly typical of that nasty sack of ****e, Adam. If you remember, he tried to cripple Bale at our place last season. ****er got away with it, Bale was out for the rest of the season. He could easily have broken Bale's leg.
Must admit, I thought Parker would have sought vengeance for what was a cynical and cowardly challenge. Lucky for Suarez, we were so far on top he saw hardly any of the ball. SP seemed peeved to say the least
The only redeeming feature of the spiteful little runt is that he will spend a significant part of the season suspended.
Lets not get ahead of ourselves here - We're not going to beat United or City to 1st and 2nd this year and we will struggle to pip Chelsea to 3rd. Aim for the title, by all means, but realistically I don't think we will get any higher than 4th.
4th is a certainty if we carry on playing like yesterday,we just need to do the same against Wigan and teams of that calibre.
You stunk the place out when you had 11 on the pitch fella. If your team are as slow witted as they were at WHL, they won't have 11 on the pitch for very long at Anfield.
I didn't see Arry out on the field so i don't know who the 12th player was!!! (i know it wasn't the ref)
