Wasn't happy when Basso took over at AG from Steve Phillips, good mate of mine. However it became clear Basso was the better keeper. In fact, if I had to choose just 1 player for our success in getting out of L1 and reaching the P/O Final with HCFC it would be Adriano Basso. Basso deserves a fantastic reception from the AG faithful.

Basso was a great keeper and fine man. Seemed he got his head turned by yet another greedy agent which was a shame as he was frozen out by GJ at the end of his time with us. He'll get a nice reception though. Hope the Tigers fans do as well. It was a long trip to make Webmley that day from here in the US and despite the result, it was an excellent day and the Hull fans were top notch. Pity the Tigers didn't stay up longer but they did themselves proud. Hope we get a long awaited win... at last.
