8th and playing like Barcelona??? At Ashton Gate I'd happily take 18th and play like my local 5 aside team called Leavemyarcelona!

    Very funny, like it !!!

Wasn't happy when Basso took over at AG from Steve Phillips, good mate of mine.

However it became clear Basso was the better keeper.

In fact, if I had to choose just 1 player for our success in getting out of L1 and reaching the P/O Final with HCFC it would be Adriano Basso.

Basso deserves a fantastic reception from the AG faithful.

as a betting man I think City will win this game..

actually I'm going to stick my neck out and say 1-0.. Waghorn

Brizzie stuffed us last game at Ashton Gate though, we played awful that day but I think the steam had gone out of the engine..

Wow, he seems very highly thought of by the Bristol fans. Seems Pearson does know what he's doing after all.

Yes. Me no grasp what said you.

Congratulations, you've surpassed yourself stupidity-wise. That may be the dumbest thing I've read on this board.

As would I, my original post was pointing out that 8th (not joint sixth at all, there's a rule called 'Goal Difference') is not 'sitting pretty'. It's an irrelevant position at an irrelevant stage of the season.

I live in Beverley. The last game I went to was Reading, and I also attended our three prior home matches. If you are interested, the next match I will be spectating is Brighton (away). I'll make the joke for you: "That's because I'm gay! Teehee".

Basso was a great keeper and fine man. Seemed he got his head turned by yet another greedy agent which was a shame as he was frozen out by GJ at the end of his time with us.

He'll get a nice reception though. Hope the Tigers fans do as well. It was a long trip to make Webmley that day from here in the US and despite the result, it was an excellent day and the Hull fans were top notch. Pity the Tigers didn't stay up longer but they did themselves proud.

Hope we get a long awaited win... at last.

Basso will get a good reception just as he should. However, if he points up at the heavens and gets struck down by a bolt of lightning sent by the Ashton Gate Gods then he'll only have himself to blame.
