well that was all a bit meh . not many of the squad players did much to enhance their claims for a starting place in the first 11 with the possible exception of AOC who was a bit him & miss but does offer us an extra goal threat .Thought Keita was ok first half but total pants the second which reinforces the view that he doesn't seem fit enough while Gomez looked very rusty and thats probably being kind .Thought Origi looked spasmodically dangerous but always seems a bit peripheral to the game as a whole. Mind you however crap we performed we are now top of the group
Genk didnt have to much opportunity but we looked decidedly jittery. No midfield control for most if the match but in saying that I had no idea what our formation was and no idea of a few positions for most if the fame.
Wasn't impressed with the performance but I'm tempted to say "screw that" as it was a vital 3 points. With our loaded fixture list we need to make sure that the Salzburg game has no real importance.
