Having just watched the Man ure/Chelski game, I still can't believe Torres' miss.
I am sat here racking my brains trying to think if I have seen a worse miss.

I know Rosenthal missed a sitter a few years ago for Liverpool against Villa, but at least he did hit the frame of the goal.

Any other contenders for miss of the century?

The ball was floated in from a corner kick and headed back out by their CB, as it travelled through the air towards me I could already see what was going to happen:

    "Adkin scores injury-time wonder-volley".

The ball was falling perfectly in front of me, I swung my leg back and lashed out with a ferocious right foot, only to miss the ball and crush my testes as my leg carried on travelling across my body.

    **** that hurt.

I still remember a horrendous airkick,<coughs and shudders> but I would never blame the player. It was definitely the substandard pitch he was playing on.

Ok you lot i will give you a laugh at my expense. I was playing away at Melton, we were 3-0 down with 15 mins left and we some how managed to pull it level with a couple of minutes left to play. I pick the ball up in defence pass it out wide and i'm belting forward, the winger has the ball and crosses hard and low across the goal, i'm only a yard out in front of goal!

oh bollocks i thought as i end up in the back of the net and i notice the ball bobbling wide!

Did wonder how long it would take one of your lot to pick up on what I was referring to JWM. I still have nightmares about that.

That one was a bit special but always likely to happen when you play on a potato field.

JWM, Apparently the divot had an agenda against Norwich. not to worry in the next game another divot felt sorry for norwich and helped them to 3 points.

Guru I'm surprised the referee allowed the goal surely he must have booked the divot for cheating!

Unfortunately not JWM, but because he didn't take any action it left Norwich free to report the divot to the FA, Which they turned down their request for the said divot to be demoted to a league 2 match for the next month.
