    How times change hey?

Who'd have thought it. A few years ago Basso was facing the Mighty Tigers At Wembley and was beaten by an unstoppable wonder strike by Deano and up next, Bristol City V HULL CITY with us sitting pretty in 8th place and Bristol 2nd bottom !!!

Have to give credit where credit is due, Basso is definitely our main stay number 1 and he has looked more and more solid and comfortable since he came in for Gulasci.

'In the middle of our goal BASSO, In the middle of our goal BASSO'

Hope he gets a warm reception from the Bristol fans !!!

Thats good to hear then Lan

Think most people at our club rate him too since he has now managed to command his starting place in our side.

OOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BASSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ADRIANO BASSO BASSO BASSO ADRIANO BASSOOOOOOOOOO!

Highly rate him, had his iffy moments, but always ALWAYS an entertaining player, and for a goalkeeper as well! I still remember against Barnsley he had JCR chasing him down whilst the ball was at his feet and he did a skilful little flick and turned JCR like a toddler and then back heeled it to McCallister!

He will get a very warm reception, he left due to GJ, not just contract issues in my opinion. Hope he does well for you, I seriously think he could be a prem number 1 for anyone in the lower half of that league easy!

    That's no good!

Anyway, he looked a bit shaky against Macclesfield in the Cup, but since then he seems to have settled in. <ok>

    Whats wrong with 8th?

Basso has gone from strength to strength each game, in the cup against Macclesfield he got very exposed with quite a few one on ones with neither goal down to the fault of Basso.

I'm not saying I'm necessarily unhappy, just that you don't get promoted by finishing in 8th spot!

Oh my god, why am I even replying !!!

We are 7 games into the new season, jesus Christ.

Won 3 in 3. I'm sure if you asked Bristol fans if they would like to swap places right now I think we all know what the answer would be.

    I will say no more.

Your actually joint 6th after 7 games! Get 10 more Basso's and for each position and you would be top!

No disrespect to Hull but you won't be one of the main teams up there at the end of the season in my book, too much competition for those top six spots.

Fair point. I suppose you weren't a favourite last time you went up, football is football and anything can happen. I'll admit you got a better chance than us though!

Yes, numbnuts, I know how many games we've played, but the same can be said of your first comment: we have been through only a small part of the season, and you are saying that we are "sitting pretty" in a position that most would class as mid-table mediocrity, and that we will certainly not be in for the next 39 games. That was my point.

And I know we've won three in three, and we do look like we are improving, but the fact we also lost four of our first five games shows how quickly and easily form changes.

Erik this will be the last time I respond to one your un-educated posts which are pointless, rude, childish, need I go on?

If you are aware we lost 4 of our first 5 games, how can you expect us to be any higher up the league table? I would take 8th plsace after 7 games into the new season and yes, we are sitting pretty in 8th or as the Bristol fan pointed out, joint 6th !!!

Living in the seychelles when was the last time you actually went to a City game to enable you to post any valid comments? FFS and you call me a numbnuts... ha ha, tut tut tut.
