It's disgusting and immoral that the report is being hidden. Everyone should agree with that

No chance. It’s bad for the Tories and is therefore bad. **** giving people access to facts when you can pump out a few soundbites about Labour and satisfy people’s prejudices.

Just seen a man/woman tory thing on the news saying the NHS needs a strong economy to succeed. I have to agree with the thingy but the brexit deal will make our economy poorer. Everyone barring Boris says so. Remember when you vote tory, you are voting to make your country worse off.

The passing of the file to the CPS doesn't mean much in itself. Leave-EU were investigated too, and no claim was pursued.

I agree the report on Russian electoral interference should be made public. As I understand it, no decision has been make yet that it won't be, before the GE.

found the proof everyone is after

A CHEEKY teenager duped Jeremy Corbyn into signing a piece of paper which stated he “supports terrorists”, is an “anti-Semite” and is on the “payroll of Iranian TV".
Thomas Chambers, 15, attended the Labour leader’s event at Gloucester University on Saturday night and audaciously got him to sign the folded up A4 page.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was outwitted at an event at Gloucester University when a 15-year-old boy tricked him into singing an anti-Corbyn poster
    2
Thomas Chambers tricked Corbyn into singing the paper, which branded him an anti-Semite, by folding it numerous times
The student, who was being filmed by his former Labour supporting dad, Alastair, 38, then proudly opened the paper next to Mr Corbyn and posed.
On the sheet, which featured an image of the 70-year-old with his thumbs up photo shopped wearing a Soviet Union T-shirt, were the words: “I support terrorists and I am an anti-Semite. Also I am on Iran TV payroll.”
After completing the stunt, the pair then left the conference without any of Mr Corbyn’s supporters or security noticing.
    'IT WAS MY IDEA'
Thomas, from Quedgeley, Gloucestershire, said: “It was my idea. I thought it was a good idea to tell everyone
“I was really surprised at the security, it was rubbish and I walked right to the front of the room after he had finished speaking, said hello to him and got him to sign the piece of paper.
“He didn’t say anything, there were no questions or concerns, he signed it willingly and was oblivious.
“I don’t like his views in relation to anti-Semitism and I don’t like how he is affiliated with Hammas and Hezbollah, who he refers to as friends.”
There were chants of “oh, Jeremy Corbyn” as the Labour leader arrived at Gloucestershire’s Oxstalls Campus to kick start the party’s campaign.
Mr Corbyn said he would renegotiate a deal with the EU within three months and then put that deal to the people in the form of a referendum.
    'HE DISGUSTS ME'
Citing zero hours contracts and uncertainty over housing, he told supporters not to let Brexit divide the country because people who voted remain and Brexit often had common interests.
Dad-of-five, Alastair , who runs a construction company, said: “I voted Labour for the last 17 years, my mum is Spanish and more socialist, my dad is English and more conservative, I have always been more on the socialist spectrum.
“Since Jeremy Corbyn has been leader, he has had a complete disregard for the UK, the way he talks about the SAS, who go undercover, fight for their country and get no recognition is wrong.
“He disgusts me. If they looked to change their leader and policies I’d consider voting for Labour, but on December 12 I will be voting for Boris Johnson.”
The latest poll from Opinium puts the Tories 16 points clear of Labour - setting them on course for a healthy majority with 40 per cent of the vote compared to 24 per cent.
Labour's Jeremy Corbyn claims fracking ban is a Tory election stunt and will 'come back on Dec 13'

Leave.EU are nothing more than simple right wing nutters. This is a far meatier allegation.

The Russia report was meant to be made public this week and has been blocked for no obvious good reason. It’s scandalous more isn’t being made of it but Boris could literally murder a Grenfell survivor in the street and it wouldn’t make the front pages of some of our newspapers.

Is it meatier? Seems to relate to technical breaches of electoral laws, possibly some overspending. And given they were pitched against a Remain government that was prepared to spend taxpayer's money on Remain propaganda, I can't get excited. Perhaps I'm missing something.

Incidentally, the chairman of Vote Leave is a Labour MP

The far right is far from a threat
Media reporting on the far right is prone to scaremongering.

The far right poses a growing threat in the UK. Or so the mainstream media would have us believe.
Take a recent piece in the Guardian. It cites a report by the UK’s Commission for Countering Extremism (CCE), and warns that the far right is ‘swooping on towns to exploit tensions.’
But the actual report, Challenging Hateful Extremism, says nothing about such vulture-like acts by far-right groups. In fact, the one case in Sunderland, which is referenced by the Guardian, is covered in just a few paragraphs on page 72 of the 140-page report. It actually concludes that ‘tensions and the far right’s external influence have been reduced’ in Sunderland. Not one line of this makes it into the Guardian story, which instead asserts that ‘[far-right] activists turn residents against Muslims and [the] government fails to tackle them’. It claims Sara Khan, who leads CCE, concluded that ‘the government’s response to extremism has been “inadequate”, “unfocused” and urgently needed a complete overhaul’. Khan actually just says that ‘the current response is insufficient and too broad’.
The report itself does somewhat exaggerate the far-right threat. It asserts that ‘far-right terrorism has become more prominent’, but then admits that only seven out of the 22 foiled terrorist plots in the UK between March 2017 and September 2019 were ‘inspired’ by far-right ideologies. Which means, of course, that the majority of terror attacks are not associated with the far right.
Apart from that, the report is quite even-handed, dealing with Islamist, far-left and even animal-rights extremists. Of all the groups witnessed by public respondents, Islamist extremists have been the most prominent (with 59 per cent of the public having seen them), followed by the far right (37 per cent) and the far left (29 per cent). The prominence of Islamist extremism is hardly a surprise. As Sheikh Dr Usama Hasan explains in the report:

‘Salafi-Islamist speakers and organisations in the UK have publicly promoted sectarian, bigoted and misogynistic views – including denigrating non-Muslims – while being given mainstream platforms by elements of civil society and the charitable sector, political support and charitable funding.’
Despite this, the report notes that only one-in-10 respondents have ‘very strong, negative views’ about Muslims. The absence of so-called Islamophobia among the vast majority of the UK populace shows how ingrained tolerance is within British society.
If further proof of the tolerance of UK citizens was needed, the report notes that hate crimes are actually declining. The Crime Survey for England and Wales found that the average annual number of hate crimes has fallen by 40 per cent between 2007-2008 (307,000) and 2017-2018 (184,000). The dissonance between perception and reality, recently analysed on spiked, is also treated by the CCE, which reports that:
‘People used the word “extremism” to describe many things – most of them hateful or harmful, but sometimes… [simply] “things I don’t like”. Creating an inclusive culture in our country means accepting that things we don’t like can have the same rights as the things we do. This is the heart of our democracy, and the democratic debate that accompanies it.’

Khan herself insists that, ‘We must continue to protect and preserve freedom of expression. This includes offensive, critical and shocking speech.’
So, while extremism remains a pressing problem in Western society, most data sets show that extremists of all stripes are minorities within their religious or ethnic groups, and that the hateful intolerance underpinning extremism is also declining. It’s good news. Now if only news outlets were honest enough to report it.

Technical breaches!!! According to the Guardian article "front page" the 50 page report from the Intelligence and Security Commission examines allegations of Kremlin activity that could have distorted the result of the 2016 Referendum, and allegations of Russian money flowing into the Tory party.

I haven't a clue I'm afraid and I wouldn't want to tar you with the wrong label without any evidence just as you don't want Corbyn hung drawn and quartered without proof that he is anti-semitic

You and I don't and I think not even those on here on duty for the Bexit camp this evening do. Only the true believers could begin to accept that 180 degree turn. the ones that DT charmingly refers to as the blue sheep. What do you think Nige wants? He's given up on becoming an MP. Hurts his confidence being rejected so many times in Brexit safe constituencies (7 isn't it) and anyway can't he make a lot more by ****ing up the Tories' chance of an outright majority and therefore continue to sit in Brussels?

TBF they all do it. One of the biggest problems in our society is the way nobody in authority will ever say it's me I ****ed up or I had my arm in it up to my elbow. Everybody tows the line to protect the honour of their side whatever that may be
