Afternoon all, one more night shift then it is my summer holiday Off work for almost 3 weeks Get in!

 

Afternoon all - Bit of a panic morning...the Italian government announced plans to increase their VAT to 21% WEF from Friday afternoon, on Friday afternoon!!!! I suppose they did not want to panic the markets!!

I wish our VASK was that low. 25.5% for everything except electricity and heating oil, books and magazines, food and a few other things like hotel rooms which is 7%.

 

Dear God this lecture is painfull!! I am paying £3000+ for this course and they dont even provide and lecturer who speaks English well!!! I have understood all of 2 sentences so far. Thats not great in 35mins of a lecture!!! It would not be too bad if the topic were not new to me!!

Then to top it all the first thing she said was dont worry i wont kill you!!

NOT HAPPY!!!!

Well we have to give her another chance, so thats next week and then we can go to the seminar leader and then the module leader. However, if no-one else complains there is nothing we can do.

 

Well, I drive to Paris on Wednesday and then the world is our oyster, well mainland Europe. Jersey has now gone from our plans as it is too expensive to get there to the point it would be cheaper to come back to the UK and then get to Jersey The best thing is we have no plans other than visit Germany to see our grandaughter (my first time) Other than that, we shall see what occurs!

 

13 hr shift completed , our gearbox is ready , waiting for the American team on the fuselage to catch up !
were now 1 day behind schedule, I.m out of hours and have to have tomorrow off except they expect me to use one of my holiday days
