We'll agree to disagree mate but I don't think the outcome affects the level of foul. It wasn't Son who actually injured him anyway.

If that's classed as endangering an opponent then you can probably class all tackles as potentially endangering an opponent.

nope because if he was on his fee and not sliding in from behind that would just be a foul

Okay, I see it. Just my spacky computer taking ages to load up the video.

Horrible injury. The faces in the crowd show how traumatising that was.

Ref probably should have sent all 11 Spurs players off for that.

very kind of you . But duff info from me in the first two instances !

the only way that's not a red card for Son is if sam becket quantum leaped into sons existence at that moment

mentioned it to PNP earlier but i think it could be a red or a yellow but i have to agree with you in that Atkinson was going to give a yellow and he changed his mind because of the injury which imo is wrong and incorrect

Do i think Son meant to injure him, nope. Was it malicious nope. Was their a lot of contact nope. However, it's sliding and from behind and no where near the ball. It catches gomes but not very forcefully. Maybe it doesn't look so bad from other angles but from the youtube vid i reckon it could be either yellow or red because of the above.

In which case every "taking one for the team" cynical tackle would need to be a red as a trip or push or pull from behind could lead to a player being injured in a fall and unless the player is the last man that never happens.

The only factual thing I disagree with in your post was that the ref was not going to give a yellow...he actually did...then walked to the injured player and can me back and gave a red...no VAR... just changed his mind.

Emery, Pochetino, Solskjaer and Silva are all running out of time. Everton aside, of the bigger three who will act first to change manager?

Surely they would all be fighting for the same level of manager.

Man United if they lose the next game

Solskjaer hopefully. The fact is he isn’t anywhere near good enough as a manager to manage United. I want him to succeed as much as the next man but he should go with his legendary status in tact, because when he’s spent £300-400m and still failing he’ll have nowhere to turn. I’d actually really like him to manage our youth.

who do you want ? who's out there atm?

Me, Dier hard and please not poll ... would not do any ****ing worse!

I think some fans get used to winning every week and get a bit hyper critical in tougher times mind. I think all the teams are simply getting better and even Liverpool and city are finding it tougher than the last season.
