Well, this is a weird one. I absolutely accept the right of the individual to define there own identidy, sexual or otherwise, but, I do not believe that we should contort our language because such people somehow find it offensive. It is this kind of mamby pampy liberalism that has alienated many people from political and social processes. I once attended an arthouse performance, where one act, a cross dresser, performed a poem about how hard it was being a crossdresser. The poem was dire, the crossdresser was no ladyboy and nobody in the venue gave a flying one that he was dressed as he was. It was very simply someone playing the victim card. So I find myself with one foot in each of the Albert and Welshie's camps. Who would ever have thought that?
