He's not the only one. There are plenty on here with the same issue which they are disguising by claiming anti-Semitism.
To be fair Goldy, I have never denied there being antisemitism within the labour party. What I do argue with, is your insistence that Jeremy corbyn is antisemitic when there isnt a scrap of evidence to suggest it. I'm sure if he had said something derogatory or used derogatory terms to describe the jews then they would be plastered all over here. You know, like Boris did.
So can I assume there aren’t any actual quotes of Corbyn being anti-Semitic ? Just hearsay. Even that wriggly lad Eelers can’t find one and I’m sure he’d of been scouring tinternet for one.
There's a few on here with a contemptuous dislike (bordering on hatred) of all religious doctrines, Fingal. Out in the real world, 'enlightened' folk appear to be free to express whatever opinion they like about Christianity, but the race card is seemingly played immediately anybody criticises any other of the world's Great Religions.
I don't think it's even hearsay, is it? Has anyone accused him of making anti-semitic statements? Though he did run into flack with his "no sense of irony" quote since he was referring to Zionists who had lived in the UK a very long time, which was taken to mean Jewish people. As I've said it's his failure to act on hate speech and threats that is the case against him. Voters will decide
Who are you talking about, surely not me? I respect all religions. I would never criticise any religion. I just think there are a few people on here who have an anti-islam agenda. They have been spouting their views in a very subtle way for a few years now and getting away with it. Time to call them out and ensure they have no where to hide as they accuse others of anti-Semitism.

Her law firm has funded staff costs for the shadow international trade secretary since 2015 and her son works in his parliamentary office A shadow minister is being funded by a law firm with links to the Chinese state, an investigation by The Times has established. Barry Gardiner, shadow international trade secretary, has received more than £180,000 in staff costs from the firm that acts as chief legal adviser to the Chinese embassy. At the same time Mr Gardiner, 59, has been employing the son of the firm’s founder in his Westminster office. Parliamentary records show that the donations partly fund the son’s salary. Mr Gardiner has generally taken a pro-Beijing stance in his shadow portfolios. In his previous role as shadow energy secretary, he supported Chinese involvement in Britain’s nuclear power industry. He has spoken out strongly in favour of the Hinkley Point power station, which is…
Call them out then... Let's have the names of these racists and, of course, the evidence to back it up
Well, I don't, Fing. It would be helpful if you put a name to them. I hope you don't have your sights on Uber! There's not a racist bone in his body (though he'd admit to it if he could spend a night with Caroline Flint)
Circumstantial evidence is "evidence" and that's fine. Can't understand why Fing is being so reluctant. Has Katie Hopkins been posting on here?
No, not you. We (as in everybody) need to get away from this ‘two wrongs make a right’ approach to Judophobia and Islamophobia. He said/she said. However, we now live in a society which actively seeks to get offended by stupid, crass remarks, where once it shrugged them off and just labelled the protagonist a ‘prat’. It is one which demands its pound a flesh for the offence. People queue up to be offended. Zero tolerance everywhere. Thankfully, we’re also seeing some of the exponents of this Brave New World hoisted on their own petards. Proper grown up debate is stifled. We must all be ‘on message’ or our careers and livelihoods could quickly be in ruins.
Is Islam a race now? I don’t think I got that memo. Given the above, please could someone kindly point me to the right section in the Koran that talks about the wearing of the hijab (or whatever it’s called). Many thanks.
