    Other than that central midfield there aren't really any areas of the team to take much joy from.

    I guess today will reveal a lot about an eventuality none of us have really considered this season, probably because it is too painful to think about it: what happens if we suffer an injury crisis of last year's proportions, but none of the injured are from the list of wantaways? So in other words, we'd be looking at having two sets of players out every game.

    It makes out already thin squad look positively wafer-like.
