I will not award any points to any member who tries to be clever and nominate 14 names 1. O'Gilvie ............ 2 Evans ( see below ) 4 Me - for staying until 0-3. I presume that the reason why Pringle doesn't get a game is because he has been playing a different game with Mrs. Evans - and I suppose Mandron must have been watching !! OK - for the sake of avoiding litigation - I am not actually serious - BUT -- What we got today - especially in the first half was dire ( and O'Gilvie wasn't as good as dire ! )-- YET - Mr. Evans allowed the same 11 to start the second half ! Did he think that they ALL deserved to do so ? I have mentioned, much earlier this season, that some of Evans tactics baffle me. Pringle ( over the few minutes that I have seen him play ), has shown that he knows how to pass the ball. I almost didn't realise that O'Keefe was on the pitch. O'Connor is not able to play at the left back area. Several times he was beaten for pace - and when crosses come in from the left side of defence, he is a liability at the back 'post'. Marshall is about effective as a wet paper bag. The team - collectively - don't know what to do when they take a throw-in. I see that we had the return of hoofball - against a team of giants ! Does Evans not have the authority to TELL the players not to keep on lumping the ball ? ....... and I note that the Rainham End have a new song; " 2-0 and you still don't sing. " ........... I might start a prediction league on how many more times this season we'll hear it.
I hope they weren't dead donkeys you are berating, you will have grumpygit on your case Marshall......wet paper bag and 10 dead donkeys
