It was a good result. West Ham are a far better side, if youre trying to put a negative spin on things you can **** off basically.

Who’s being negative. I think we all agree it was a good result. It was also a positive performance. We had a lot of chances on target. In fact I would say we doubled our seasons tally on target in one game.

Tough game indeed, they are currently sat in 7th place. But...they are somewhat in and out recently. With Ritchie, Who can cross, assist and take chances, replacing Almiron, who can't, I see building on today's result and first half playing style. Schar back as well is a bonus.
    Onwards and upwards.

Shelvey had a good game overall. Not too many Hollywood balls.

Fenandez also played well as did Maxi and Miggy...just a pity neither can shoot or the game would have been over by half time.

Fast becoming my favourite player. Imagine if he and Almiron could add an end product to their games...... They wouldn't be here!

there is a touch of deja vu here. Who can forget the time it took for some people to accept that Kennedy was not the 'superstar' many had labelled him.
I really rate Almiron's potential, but he is a long way from being a first team starter. His job is to score, assist, cross and create. After 21 games now, he has done a tiny bit of the latter with his running at defenders. ASM is much better than him, but also lacks composure in front of goal at the minute. You can't have them both starting right now.
Just as Brucie made the very obvious choice to put his two senior midfielders in today, I think, if fit, Ritchie will start next week.

Agree. I think Richie would be a good CM option. He'd get stuck in (maybe worryingly so!) can pass the ball and score a goal.

In the second half that would probably have been in a pub as there wasn’t many left in the ground after Shelvey scored.

Mondern day embarrassing trait of most PL fans, the walkout if they’re losing badly.
