Great win. Good Results too with southampton and norwich both losing. If chelsea do the business later it will have been the perfect weekend.

Good result, wouldn't be a newcastle game if there wasn't an enormous amount of tension for the last 10mins would it? But play like we did for 75/80 mins today and we will be fine this season.

Front 3 were much better today, no goals for them but much improved and Joelinton with an assist so postives for sure.

Jonjo on set pieces give us a different option instead of just playing it to the first defender every time. 3 set pieces, 3 goals, how do you keep him playing like that though? Hayden back in did his job as well as usual, breaking up play, simple passes, being a nuisance

Defence - fullbacks were outstanding today especially Willems and the 3 centre backs were solid as ever. Dubz was back to his solid self no errors, just one decision where he came for it but Fernandez cleared when he probably should have stayed but as I say solid display from him.

Got to look to be getting as many points from the next few games as possible now really need to try and push the 20 point mark in advance of the new year!

good result. Shows you that if we play offensive just a tad more we actually can play and score. It’s took Bruce a few games to realise we don’t have to just sit back and play defensive.

Just woken up having seen the score and then saw this. At first I thought either the posts were somehow out of order or it was the most amazing bit of prediction ever. Then I realised you had seen the line up and were saying that with Shelvey playing we would lose 3-0.

Holy **** that was nervy. I hope Bruce wasn't listening to the commentary I was cos they said don't be fooled by the score, it was a comprehensive victory for us.....WTF? That 2nd half was nearly as bad as last weeks. We looked ****ed after 60mins and I'm yet to fathom out why Bruce left it so long to change things and put some fresh legs on. Obviously ecstatic with the 3 points but West Ham were as bad in the first half as we were in the 2and. That being said we should have been 4 or 5 up by the break but for some piss poor finishing.

Definitely something to build on as our first half was way better than last weeks first half...we need to work ok fitness and some players need to work on their finishing!

 

I think we should have won that game easily , but we missed a few chances and then didn't have the balls to keep pushing and tried to hold on … i suspect that was bruce's instructions at 3-0, but like i said two weeks ago we have simply struggled with a tough start and confidence just like last season , but now we can hopefully push on. I hope this puts an end to people calling for a change in how we play at least until we hit 40 points

In fairness I don't think you can pin this too much on Bruce. We had loads of nervy endings under Rafa as well.
