To be honest Guru, I have not seen either of them visit the Town board and perhaps it is more of a shock to them to see what they saw, all the same 4 simultaneous posts which all basically said the same thing - 'Norwich are cheats' was uncalled for. 1 post would have been acceptable and may possibly have remained open. You may or may not be a hypocrite Guru but then you are not moderating on the Ipswich board, if you did you may think differently but I do not know. Hamps is a moderator, and look at the action he has taken since those threads were closed. Retaliation deleting of posts by Norwich fans! I am not saying his actions are right or wrong, it's up to him to decide what he does on the Town board but my guess would be many people think it is childish to retaliate the way he does. Does this then mean he is a hypocrite? I guess it does so your line because we are not hypocrites is open to debate.
Of course you have WUMS on your board and it is up to Hamps to deal with them if that is what is required. If no one complains, same as me, then nothing will happen but if people are making complaints then as a responsible moderator I will deal with it in what I believe to be the most appropriate way and please do not think that all decisions are made alone. When both Dave and I are online together, we make decisions together. If it something that one of feels cannot wait for the other to be online to discuss, we will act as we think is right alone.
Thai, i would agree that deleting posts is the wrong way to do things. But also isn't the great thing about not606 is that we don't have the BBC Mods on our backs. But in all fairness, its not the first time that you Norwich fans have run off when we get a little 'ammo' against you, yet if the tables are turned our board looks like a banjo players convention with all the norwich fans on there!
Guru, I have no problem with WUM threads whatsoever, most on here are like minded. The objection was 4 of them at the same time which were basically the same and I am being honest when I say I thought it was disgraceful that another moderator was the perpetrator on this occasion.
That is absolutely the 'Norwich' way, and to be fair, it is almost un-heard of for us not to agree on any important issue!
It was a tragedy. His opening game was a fine 2-0 away win somewhere. Now where was it again? Got all us fans on his side, then took us in to the the dark ages
