Nov 6th '71, Velvet Underground due to play in Leeds - had tickets and all - busted at the airport ( allegedly suspicious chemicals in one of the band's gear), so concert cancelled. Never seen 'em live as a result. Pissed off, but hey ho !

Don't know why - the 3 worst voices in the history of pop /rock music are way up there on my list of favourite artists - Bob Dylan, Neil Young and this man Lou Reed.

Indeed. I first heard the SDG version, followed by SF then BH.

Wonder, if like many a boy wonder, did Winwood peak too soon?
