I suffer with something called surfer's ear. Which is basically boney growth over the ear canal to try and protect the ear drum. You get it from years of being in cold windy conditions blowing in your ears. Walkers get it and basically anybody who is outside loads in cold windy conditions. It means that I get ear infections quite regularly and I have to wear ear plugs in the sea and swimming pool otherwise my ears (or one ear) blocks up. It's a ****ing painful and horrible experience, as it feels like you are trapped inside your own muffled head.
Things get misnamed all the time. Some bastard named "****ers elbow": "tennis elbow" and the name stuck.
tooth ache is **** all mate ! I've had ear ache and that is far more sinister imo and as for man flu i'd take that over both any week. The thing is that both men and woman get the same thing , but because woman has more oestrogen they are better equipped to deal with it . Woman are also better at surviving on lower temperatures than men … oh yes it's true woman are tougher than us men in certain areas
