I see the theme for this election is "Odious, even by our low standards"

"Worlds Dumbest" showed Boris stuck high up on a cable. "Send for a ladder!" I'd forgotten about that bit of brilliance as Mayor in 2012!

I'm sure this will get brought up just as much as Diane Abbott fluffing her sums two years ago...

I swear I am not making this up

Fearing that he may lose his Uxbridge & South Ruislip constituency, proven liar Boris Johnson is trying to scuttle off to the Tory safe seat of Rutland & Melton which has become available with Alan Duncan standing down as an MP at the end of the current parliamentary session

Yes, it is the same Melton where the pork pies come from

I hope he does. That sort of thing usually goes down badly with voters.

Although the usual rules don't seem to apply any more.

Hopefully that's the case across the spectrum, given the Lib Dems' tactic of parachuting people who weren't elected as Lib Dems into Tory marginals

Another day, another Lib Dem plot to keep a Tory in their seat

Agreed - but both Lab and Lib Dems need to grow up as this is happening on both sides. (Richmond / Westminster etc).
Greens proving to be the grown ups in this election so far. If only FPTP didn't hold sway...

Not necessarily. Baseball is only boring 99.999% of the time. A series deciding game that hangs on every pitch is thrilling. Though there weren't any of those this year.

I lived over there for 4 yrs and never took to that game. It’s mind numbing apart from maybe the last innings. How people sit there and watch that ****e for a couple of hours, I don’t know.

What's interesting is that it's boring, so you go to a game to talk to your friends. Why you need overpriced beer to do that remains a question.
