By the way he accepted the final Boris deal but that does not change the original vote off not backing Brexit initially going against the people.
Surely you should vote LibDem Rob? Corbyn is a Brexiteer and the LDs are the only united Remain party.
What difference does it make, we all know this GE is about Brexit, no other manifest promises will matter.
wrong ….………… PMQ's today was a revolution .. a sign of what is to come …. Corbolliks …. he is now a well orchestrated puppet ….. speaks slower, has well rehearsed lines and often out of sync with the mood of the Q & A...…. [ not checked back yet ] one reply to him referred the to the Q and also stated he was not wearing a poppy [ Q or A was to do with Russia / Cuban support and knocking TRUMP ] dug holes like Boris didn't deliver … redfaced with reply ….. labour and you voted it down …… BORIS was like SOBERS smashing 36 in an over.... SWINESTO she dug herself the biggest hole of the season wore no poppys or suchlike at all Q was same as 2 or 3 others had put and he demolished her like a 14lb sledge crushing a grain of wheat …. thought she was going to need a parmedic! Womble … or as he known in Scotland ...tele tubby got the same treatment as Boris after his first reply apologised for his appearing to rant before answering the second comment by starting however my "my honourable FRIEND" always rants so probably doesn't mind …. ! .. then destroyed his constant bleating about Scotland leave UK and needs to divert attention from his boss having wasted over £1bn of funds having highest taxes … poor resources & Scotlands health service in trouble [ possible £1bn item ] etc etc etc his 4ft 11" frame sinking like a scolded cat into his seat Plaid CYMRU … only about 3 or 4 of them their leader in the house [ general with 2 soldiers? ] delivered a typical rolling welsh lyrical comment condemning Boris not delivering etc etc . Boris congratulated her on her delivery .. before blasting her into oblivion …. you voted everytime to scupper Brexit and yet your constituency voted almost 60/40 to leave and told her in no uncertain terms how the welsh are suffering from the devolved parliament of wales destroying their economy labour/ P CYMRU
INTERVEIWING by tv of strong labour areas who voted leave ........ these will be interesting! it seems from those that get interviewed the majority is leave not voting labour or Libund they had no one voting labour [ labour won by 4500 last GE ] one person was unclear. ( usually they find 2 for 2 against 2 undecided ). that's 3 areas they have covered . over 100 labour MP's did not vote for a GE [ = OBSTAINED] WORRIED they might lose their seats?
I’m sure some will weigh up other factors too. For instance will Labour voters who voted leave easily vote Tory or The Brexit Party, who are even further right wing the the Tories, you are probably right , but I wouldn’t take it for granted.
LibDem don't have a chance in my area. And besides, I'm not actually necessarily a 'remainer' per se. I could back the right leave deal - I just don't think it's actually possible to get it.
The way I see things is that 1) The country, despite being given no decent information prior to the vote by any party, narrowly voted to leave the EU. 2) We should therefore leave the EU with the best deal offered asap 3) If a subsequent government wants the UK to rejoin the EU, and after all of the shenanigans of the last 3 years or so, then it should be put to a national vote again and at least people will know what to expect next time. Simples Just like me
I imagine we will have to be a bit careful that every election from now on doesn't lead us to a referendum of if we want to be in the EU or not!!!! I can see a trend brewing!
This is normally true, but I think for a majority of people this GE will be like a second referendum on Brexit. It’s the biggest issue of concern to most voters and if the LibDems get their campaigns right on this issue then they’ll capture most of the Remain votes - that’s 48% of the electorate! Fascinating times......
Sorry Angelic, I'll only agree with your view if we enact the referendum result of 3 years ago. And wait, as we who lost in '75, wait for a generation before another referendum. Isn't that what Cameron promised the electorate - 'a once in a generation vote'.
I think attached to the GE form to vote should be another box to tick …. for a referendum not to have another referendum for as long as we have been in the EU … !WITH A MINIMUM OF 40 YEARS
Many remainers are Labour voters they aren’t likely to vote LibUnDems they’re going to vote Labour so I don’t follow your logic , besides many remains want another referendum, again Labour policy , whereas LibUnDems are suggesting revoking article 50 and completely ignoring the referendum, I don’t think they are going to do that well, we’ll see.
Breaking news Boris and NIgel are making a pack. Brexit party will stand in labour heartlands that voted out. However will not contest Conservative heartlands that voted out. Bring it on and smash the Labour Party once and for all.
Labour voters are going to vote for The Brexit Party who are even more right wing than the Tories? , we’ll see , even if you are right it’s hardly going to smash the Labour Party once and for all. Once Brexit is dealt with there won’t be a place for The Brexit Party , and even if they still exist traditional Labour voters will return to being Labour voters.
