Right, JMF. If you really want to stop something, hit 'em in the pocket book where it hurts.
Should have fined them any income that they got for the game and used the money to fight racism there

Why is it so obvious that Daniel James is a diver, but VAR keeps letting him win penalties!? He doesn't get fouled, he throws himself into defenders and rolls on the floor. What is the point in VAR if they regularly say that is a Penalty?! He's a cheat! And he keeps getting rewarded for it! Just because he is small, young, fast and plays for Man United. If those happed to Argos, I bet he would have got 0 penalties from the same situations.
The refs don't seem to matter.Maybe VAR is trained off ref decisions so have 'big team bias' played into it so that it doesn't change things too much....
Way to go! The on-field ref who (correctly) didn't penalise Godfrey should have the benefit of extra camera angles and slow-mo to vindicate his decision. Not some pro Manure keyboard warrior sitting in a control room somewhere far away.Apparently, they are going to look at actually USING pitch side monitors rather than some faceless referee watching umpteen replays and making collosal gaffes.

IMO, it's how the system was intended to be used and NOT as another NCFC fan said VR -ie 'Video Refereeing'; such as we have seen in ALL cases where it has been used to date!!!Way to go! Yes, but rather spoiled by sight of the video camera filming the occasion for the club website or local media! How can you get anything but a staged reaction when the participants know they are being filmed?......... And this is the moment Col U players reacted to the draw .....]
I wasn't offering an analysis of the reasons behind the seemingly endless squabbling. I was trying to offer a reasoned alternative that everyone could subscribe to. If those on either side see no merit in my suggestion, so be it; but I, and I suspect many others, am heartily fed up with it.That doesn't matter, and isn't the reason they are trying to start fights.
It isn't weird for the media to film it, is it? Not often they get to that stage, and seemed a pretty genuine reaction to me.Yes, but rather spoiled by sight of the video camera filming the occasion for the club website or local media! Not at all odd to be filming it, but what you then have is a staged response, not the spontaneous reaction it purports to be.It isn't weird for the media to film it, is it? Not often they get to that stage, and seemed a pretty genuine reaction to me.
So you're saying they knew who they were going to be drawn against in advance, and not just thrilled to be drawn against one of the 'big' teams? Not at all odd to be filming it, but what you then have is a staged response, not the spontaneous reaction it purports to be.

I think the problem is the Premier League deciding against pitch side monitors, which allow the ref to view the images on which the VAR referee"s decision is based. The European leagues using VAR, and FIFA and UEFA, all operate the pitch side monitor system. The point is that the match referee will then only change his original decision if the VAR images show him something of significance happening in the incident, that he didn't appreciate as happening when making his on-pitch decision. EPL should introduce pitch side monitors. Why is it so obvious that Daniel James is a diver, but VAR keeps letting him win penalties!? Oh, I am bored to tears by getting attacked for things that really don't matter.I wasn't offering an analysis of the reasons behind the seemingly endless squabbling. It's the main reason I post far less on here.
If that's your idea of 'being attacked' FML, then god helo you when you grow up and reach the real world.
And while I'm here, both you and Dave need your bloody heads banging together the pair of you.
Either you grow up and Dave stop being Victor Meldrew, or you two, as CC mentioende ealier, flounce off to your own thread and we will make it private just for you two.
FFS man, I take it you read the local news?
There's far more important things happening in the world, outside of you getting the bloody hump everytime somebody posts in the wrong ****ing thread![/
