Thanks, problem for me and I expect others. I'll see what can be done.
I'll have a chat with the electoral office for my ward tomorrow. Another thought is how many will be applying? Ah found this "At the UK General Election of 2017 there were a record 285,000 registered overseas voters. The Government have estimated that this is about 20% of eligible expats under the current 15-year limit." on https://researchbriefings.parliament.uk/ResearchBriefing/Summary/SN05923 Only 20% registered that needs to change.

As you all probably know, my daughter lives in the US. What you don't know is 3 ½ years ago when my first grandson was born, after 3 hours they noticed serious (life threatening) complications. They were insured up to the hilt. The also have personal resources that I can only dream of. In the end my grandson is now perfect after 8 hour surgery 3 hours into his life. Total cost to insurance was over $500,000 and they personally paid an extra $90,000 for the extra tests (which picked up more issues) that the insurance didn't cover. As a UK citizen, if she was here it would have all been covered for free. This has been confirmed by the UK doctors that she has subsequently seen.

Just think about it, a little life that is my world would not be here today if they didn't have the resources. That should NEVER happen in the UK. Ever.

We need to do everything possible to protect our NHS.

Rant over.

Would you mind if I copied that and shared it on Facebook as an example of what could be heading our way, over the next decade or so?

I can well understand your point of view. I think though you’ll find, if BJ wins the GE, the government will end up being much more towards the centre than many suppose, as the party relies heavily on the resources of more moderate Conservatives. I think I appreciate the reasons why that right now that may not be the picture that you or many others can see at present. With regards to the potential US trade deal, there is not, in my view, the slightest chance of the NHS ending up with the US owning or controlling it or even parts of it. That is a bridge way too far for the majority of the Conservative members.
We just want rid of the disgusting Johnson. We want a proper Conservative, someone like Hammond or Grieve.

Why do we need a Conservative at all?
What is needed is a campaign to show to the public that the present ruling party is "Conservative" in name only. I highlighted those two to illustrate proper "Conservatives.". PS: I think you should judge from my comments down the years that I will never vote Conservative. Last time I voted Green, this time Labour, unless "You Know Who" (your pet hate Chilco, Archers and Rorschach) was standing in my constituency

The hate posters have started already.
One of my Tory voting sisters posted a poster of Corbyn on Facebook alleging pretty much everything other than sheep shagging.
To be expected among the idiots who believe everything they read in their paper.

I’m actually considering tactical voting first time. I’m in the itchen bridge area and there is like 1% difference between lab and con in the last election.

Dominic Grieve on the wireless saying he is standing as an Independent. Not entirely complimentary about Pfeffel.
