So are you now saying that EU nationals that have been here 4 months cant vote? Is it only for as you say i.e people who are making their lives and futures here and who are contributing just as much as any of us?
Just to clarify... if the speakers assistant doesn't choose the amendments it still has to go to the Lords (like the election) and they can overturn it. If they don't, then there is always the courts. As for the date. Elections are normally held on the Thursday and not a Monday so why change? once again its for oppertunist reasons.
