Or bottled water that's taken 10,000 years to permeate through the rocks from a natural spring, but has to be consumed by X date!!!!!! <laugh>

I think it should be a prerequisite for all food events that they have some surplus food distribution policy in place. And yes lots of the big businesses have some good schemes now to distribute food that hasn't sold.

What they need to do now is reduce the amount of their packaging, especially the stuff that is wrapped in endless layers of plastic. There are alternatives, I use a product called PLA, which looks like cellophane, but is actually made from corn starch. It needs to go on a hot composter, and there aren't many facilities around at local council level. But I've started a small project in the town where I live to deal with my packaging and that from several local businesses.

Hoping that eventually it will be something that Cornwall council takes on .... small steps and all that.

  4. When it is drawn from its source it will begin to cultivate potentially harmful bacteria. The bottling process tries to minimise the effect, but bacteria being what it is will find a way, eventually.

Some of the pies at matches should carry a health warning.

Sometimes you bite into one, and it's lie you've just stuck your tongue on a bunsen burner.

    There's an old
Didn't McDonalds end up getting sued because somebody burnt their mouth drinking some coffee. So they had to put a 'warning this coffee may be hot' sign on it ?

Or was it an Apple Pie ?

    Ah you are right.

Just read up on it she was awarded 2.86m but in the end the judge reduced it to 640k.

£640k ain't bad though for a cup of hot coffee.

Wonder how much it cost her in legal fees though ? Or do you get those back if you win a damages case ? We need a real Lawyer to adjudicate, anybody but @Hoddle Is A God to confirm ?

Yup to be fair she only asked for her medical to be be paid (all acording to wiki) but she got more. Still her fault in my mind and the coffee cup had a warning hot sign but was not deemed obvious enough.

Now i dont give a **** about leeching blood sucking giant corps but in my mind this sort of **** is still wrong
