The electorate will vote on what they want. People normally vote on one thing anyway. In the past its been about the NHS or the economy, so why not Brexit? You must let the individual decide on what they want to vote on.
What is evident is that the parliament is dead and needs changing. You cant have a government being overuled on every vote. The Labour stance of playing political games is an insult to voters and the public. However what do you expect with an idiot running the party. His game playing will cost him the leadership and an election.

Does anyone in parliment trust Boris? His form is unbelievable. Has to be one of the funniest reigns in prime ministerial history. Great idea to force a minority government upon himself. Thankfully, the more he speaks the more and more people are seeing through his lies. Why does a possible election have to be the 12th? Why not earlier? Because he wants to dictate who can and cant vote, or at the least make it difficult for certain people to vote. We live in very corrupt times!

Standard Republican tactics. Not sure he’s considered how Ethel and Albert will get out without slipping on the ice but at least the students will be back home and away from where they’re probably registered.

Boris Johnson's father calls for 'cruel' halal meat to be either banned or labelled

Concerned: Stanley Johnson holds the RSPCA’s Richard Martin Award for Outstanding Services to Animal Welfare ( Mary Turner/Getty Images )

The father of foreign secretary Boris Johnson has called for “cruel” halal meat to be either labelled or banned.
Stanley Johnson, a former Conservative MEP, author and journalist, wrote in the Independent that he would be “happy to see” halal meat excluded from the UK after leaving the EU.
Currently, there is a “religious exception” to the EU’s 2009 Slaughter Regulation requiring all animals to be stunned before slaughter.
This allows for halal meat, a market worth £2.6bn in Britain alone, to be killed by hand without being stunned first.
“I would be happy to see specific UK legislation, drafted to replace the EU Slaughter Directive, explicitly preclude the “religious exemption” from pre-stunning requirements.”
He claimed that most people eat halal meat on a daily basis without realising, as it is sold unlabelled in major supermarkets and outlets.
Mr Johnson, holder of the RSPCA’s Richard Martin Award for Outstanding Services to Animal Welfare, argued that Britain leaving the EU might allow the government to at least implement a national labelling scheme.
“If the consumer actually knows what he or she is buying, we would – I believe – in very short order see a major reduction of halal products without at the same time offending the sensibilities of religious groups,” he said.
“Well-judged “post-Brexit” action by the UK in the field of animal welfare and the environment may act as a spur and a stimulus to our continental, but no longer-EU, partners to up their own game.”

My wife promised to leave me,
but I secured a legally binding injunction delaying divorce a few months.
Now I take every opportunity to mock her for not delivering on her promise.

I get your point Bob about lying from politicians, but surely even you can understand the difference between a Boris Porkie and a Corbynski one, Right from the get go Boris backed leaving as did Corbynski, Boris still backs leaving whereas Comrade Jezzbollah has lied and lied and lied his way to being a fully committed remainer whilst still lying his socialist arse off trying to convince people he is the solution to Brexit, when in reality because of all his shenanigans and twisting and turning and mostly lying he is now the biggest stumbling block to getting Brexit done.
He doesn’t give a flying **** about the liebour party, it’s members, it’s heartlands and the working classes all Comrade Jezzbollah Corbynski is interested in is himself becoming PM, but because of his unpopularity ( the most loathed labour leader in history ) he has more chance of plaiting piss than ever achieving his goal.
Boris has 4 times offered him a general election and he’s turned down each and every one because he knows he cannot win and Liebour will be literally wiped of the political spectrum if and when it does happen, politicians have short memories, the people have long ones and believe you me, when the day comes the political scene in this country will make a change never seen before, I personally think you will have a raft of new MP’s replacing this shower of ****e, new politicians that will understand their frail position and will do as they are bid, and not as they wish.

It sometimes happens that you get minority governments ruling countries Ellers - the UK is not unique in this. It involves compromise and open dialogue with Parliament on a bill for bill level. The reason this has dragged on for over 3 years is that Theresa May only actually entered into any sort of dialogue at the last minute. There is absolutely no guarantee that a general election will produce a result which is in any way different to what we have now - and then we really are back to square one. If an election produces a hung parliament then that is also the 'will of the people', and it is their mandate that you govern on that basis. You cannot keep going back to the electorate until they deliver a convenient result - but deprive them of a second referendum. The reason why everything is being voted down is not that we have a minority government, but rather that we have a PM that commands no trust in the house.

Students don't vote anyway. What happened last time? Besides there are plenty of Tory students. It's a myth mate.

Students do vote and will do in increasing numbers. The gammonites were moaning about how it swung seats with big unis last time. One small bonus of this Tory shambles is that younger people care more about this.

Sadly Turkish you are not going to get through here. It's nothing but Tory bashing. I'll informed incorrect statements about Boris and the Tories.
You watch the terrorist loving Corbyn u turn today. Remember he has started, only yesterday that he wouldn't support a GE. If the Limps and SNP support the Boris attempt today Corbyn will say something like ”now you have responded to the EU for the extension blah blah blah”. Corbyn is unelectable and contrary to what someone says on a forum Boris is way ahead in the polls and people trust him more than Corbyn.

Are we meant to take a post about how Boris’ lies aren’t bad lies and he’s always been vehemently pro-Leave seriously? The Tories get bashed because they’ve absolutely ****ed the country off whenever they’ve had a chance to and lemmings continue to back them. Corbyn is a dreadful opposition and Starmer could wipe the floor with Johnson. It’s a tragedy there’s no serious opposition to this right wing fruitcake shambles.

that makes sense. You want another referendum but complain about a GE. The flaw in your argument is that after a GE the result is respected and implemented whereas the referendum hasn't been.
The other point you make regarding talks with May and Corbyn was just a political stunt by labour. Corbin wanted to be seen outside No10, Fortunately May saw through his trick. they had no intentions of agreeing to anything. All theatre so Corbyn could score points.
Finally I have seen how different parties work together in other countries but we are different over here.

Boris isn’t respecting the result of the General Election by navigating around the Fixed Term Parliament Act.

Starmar couldn't even wipe his nose without changing his mind.
The country is safer under a Tory government. Business don't want Labour. The Military don't want Labour... In fact the only people that want Labour are Labour.
Seriously Watford they are a shambles of a Party led by a guy who calls Terrorist ”brothers”. When business said they would rather have no deal than a Labour government led by Corbyn, it should start ringing alarm bells.
